About

Machine Gun Fury is a bold revival of the classic arcade military shooter — no cover systems, no moral debates, just pure reflex-driven carnage. It’s you, your trigger finger, and a limited supply of grenades against entire armies. If you grew up blasting through classic arcade games, welcome back to the frontline, soldier.
Blast your way through enemy armies with nothing but sharp reflexes, heavy firepower, and a limited supply of grenades. Liberate 8 explosive regions packed with screen-filling bosses, relentless waves of enemies, and high-intensity run-and-gun action.
Step into the boots of three unstoppable soldiers armed to the teeth and ready to bring tyranny to its knees:
Gunner Jimbo – A walking assault division. Built for suppressive fire and zero compromise. If he stops shooting, something big is about to explode.
Suzi Uzi – Fast, tactical, and merciless. She doesn’t waste bullets. She doesn’t miss. She doesn’t stop moving.
Mini-Gun Floyd – The embodiment of sustained fire. When those barrels spin up, the battlefield becomes a memory.
Three warriors. One impossible mission. Infinite enemies.
Fight on foot or take control of heavily armed vehicles including tanks, boats, and combat buggies. Unleash a full arsenal of military-grade weaponry and trigger explosive chain reactions that turn enemy strongholds into rubble. If it moves — eliminate it.
Fast-paced top-down and side-scrolling run-and-gun gameplay

Playing this game transports me back to the golden age of arcades, and that's something that can't be said about many modern games. In conclusion, I highly recommend this game to any fan of the action genre. It's a true gem that should not be overlooked.
This game is fun to play. I like the variety of levels that switches things up. Awesome game.
Very, very addictive, had a lot of fun and would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking to blow people up and have a laugh.
I loved MERCS to death. it was my ultimate favourite megadrive game. to this day i have fond memorys of it. when i saw this... i bought it without hesitation and playing the demo... mostly because it was only 2,50,- unfortunately... its not fun! and very short! i rather play mercs on an emulator. so i refunded my 2,50,- thats how unfun this is.
Great retro game - homage to Commando maybe! worth a go!!
6/10 Machine Gun Fury is an alright throwback to the 90s run and gun shooter like contra or shock troopers, sporting 5 top down levels and 3 side view. The gameplay is about what you would expect if you have played other games from that era, and comes with an arcade mode (5 lives and gameover) and a standard mode (one life but infinite continues) with 3 difficulties, so its accessible to both vets and newcomers. The action is enjoyable enough to earn a reccomendation if you have already played all the top tier games from that genre and still want more, but it does have issues. For one, its only an hour long. Yeah thats kinda par for the course but its still worth mentioning. Another issue, is there is no strafe or aimlock, which makes dodging bullets in the top down levels trickier than it needs to be. Also, there are issues with walls. Some of them you can shoot through and others you can't with no rhyme or reason. And then there are some enemies can shoot through but you can't. Weapon and health placement is also very uneven. Still, its worth picking up on sale.
I can't get my controller to work with it. The music is really bad. It's just a rip off of Ikari Warriors.
Machine Gun Fury is the type of game that's inspired by some of your favorites back in the day (if you had an NES at least!). Jackal, Contra, Ikari Warriors just to name a few. It has some similar design and mixes it up throughout the game. They all looked nice, controlled great and were really fun to play through. Except maybe the boat level, that one wasn't anything special. There's a few difficulty options and both a story mode and arcade mode so any skill of player should be able to play through this without too much trouble. If you enjoy the classics, I think you'll enjoy this one. https://youtu.be/4lyX8kfZflU
