LYSA HORA: The Haunted Hill

Running wild out here not literally with a linear walking game that contains search for item quests tied with basic search around for a four digit code ideas sprinkled with some chase sequences and a dash of spelling errors. That I can forgive because this became apparent to me as a russian game after I realized its the same engine that the developer ETIKA uses for his work which must be the equivalent of eastern European unity engine or something as well as the prominence of (spoilers) the schitck of russian horror always being directed towards anomalies, electromagnetic science, spatial hocus pocus and abandoned megastructures/indoor facilities. I suppose thats just a cultural thing theres no way it isn't by how much I see this trope in other games. Really the game only has visuals going for it at first and I initially found the sound design to be somewhat enjoyable except every time you complete a task as the game plays a stupid BING sound effect plays or with its jumpscares plays a bass BOOM. If your going to build atmosphere be consistent and less silly

Lysa Hora ended up being a pleasant surprise. I originally picked this one up as part of a game bundle, so I didn't really go into it with huge expectations. Usually, games like this can be pretty hit or miss. Thankfully, this one landed on the positive side. Lysa Hora is a shorter indie horror experience that doesn't try to reinvent the genre, but it does enough to keep things interesting from beginning to end. The graphics were better than I expected, creating a creepy atmosphere that fit the game well and helped keep me immersed. The gameplay is mostly that of a walking simulator, so if you're expecting constant action or elaborate puzzles, you may want to adjust your expectations. The beginning is a little slow, and it takes some time before things really get going. Once it does, though, the game throws in a handful of solid scares that help keep the experience entertaining. They're not nonstop, but there were definitely a few moments that caught me off guard. Overall, I came away enjoying Lysa Hora more than I expected to. It's a simple, short indie horror game that knows exactly what it is. It won't end up on my list of all-time favorites, but for the price—especially if you pick it up as part of a bundle—it's absolutely worth giving a chance if you're looking for a quick horror experience to fill an evening.

A Must-Play for Horror Fans – Incredible Atmosphere! ✅ Recommended I'm genuinely impressed. LYSA HORA: The Haunted Hill is a fantastic indie horror experience that nails the atmosphere from start to finish. For a solo developer, the quality here is outstanding.

Гра на один вечір, складається з бродіння по темним локаціям з рідким вкрапленням лякалок, пошуком ключів та кодів від замків, грав на RTX 5070 на максималках, все працює нормально але є фрізи коли переходишь на іншу локацію Плюси: -Гра від українського розробника -Гарна графіка на UE5 -Добра оптимізація -Стрьомні лякалки -Звук -Міні гра в грі Дивно казати про мінуси враховуючи ціну гра але ж Мінуси: -Сюжет (просто мотивація рухатися по хорорним локаціям) -Іноді погано видно предмети які треба піднімати ключі та документи (може зробити так що б вони трохі підсвічувалися, бо я іноді просто мимо пробігав і не розумів що від мене хоче гра) -Відсутність керування геймпадом (на клаві не дуже в таке грати) -І найголовніше це система пересування, головний герой постійно втомлюється (Ігровий цикл складається з бігу-втоми-повільної хотьби-бігу і так по колу, особливо дратує на відкритих локаціях по типу лісу) -Нестрибає герой коли витривалість меньше ніж половина (це основна причина моїх смертей) А так дякую за гру, своє задоволення я отримав, бажаю автору успіхів

Reale Orte, reale alte Bräuche, ein wenig reale Geschichte, viel Phantasie, Visionen und Träume und Dunkelheit. Ich finde das Spiel super und hätte es auch ohne Story gespielt. Genaugenommen kann man mir irgendwelche verlassenen Orte vor die Nase setzen, einfach um sie zu erkunden, und ich werde nichts anderes tun, als darin herum zu laufen. Na gut, es macht schon etwas mehr Spaß, wenn es dabei düster ist und man das Gefühl hat, etwas würde auf einen lauern (wobei man das automatisch in solchen verlassenen Häusern hat). Und ja, auch ein kleines Rätsel dann und wann macht Spaß. Geheimnisse/Geschehnisse die man aufdeckt, und dem Ort eine Geschichte geben. Dies alles erfüllt das Spiel. Es hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Es enthält Backroom - und Anomalyelemente, unzählige Gänge und Türen. So ein Haus, wie das verlassene Labor im Spiel, in echt zu finden und zu erkunden müsste so cool sein. (Alternativ ginge auch VR.) Da die Rätsel nicht weiter schwer sind, auch die wenigen Plattformerelemente nicht, bleibt der Fokus auf dem Erkunden. Die Stimmung wird nicht durchbrochen, sondern die kleinen Aufgaben geben eine Richtung, so dass man nicht komplett ziellos herum irrt.
