About

Do you want to manage a ludus in the ancient Roman Empire? I can almost hear you asking, “What’s a ludus anyway?” A ludus is what they called the schools that trained gladiators for the people’s favorite event—gladiator fights. And you’re very close to running one of them.
Train your gladiator, set up your camp, and dominate fights across different cities in the Roman Empire. Shape your story based on the character you choose. Make different choices in dialogues to determine your path.
Sometimes, gather intel from rival luduses and choose your gladiator accordingly. Craft new items for your fighters, or brew potions to boost their strength. Manage your ludus however you like.
No matter how well you manage it, sometimes things happen out of the blue. Fate... So watch out for random events that may occur.
If you want to casually manage a ludus in the ancient Roman Empire, this game is just for you.

It is a casual game that gives certain entertainment, although basic and lack of guidance, found it difficult to maintain gold levels in mid-game to end-game.
Ludus manager feels like a college project, unfinished that some how made it onto the Steam Store. Now, while that sounds harsh that is not my intention. The game is currently what the game is... which feels mostly like a slot machine of gladiatorial outcomes. It has potential but needs better illustrative art and they need to figure out how to allow multiple different save files based on your career choice. I got the game on sale, and it was worth that price, but had I paid more I would have been upset. I hope the proceeds from my purchase fuel the developer and help them keep growing. Good luck
I got to levelled 4 camp and then couldn't load gladiators to fight. 26 hours to get there then it crashed so I couldn't get my money back because I played too long. So much for supporting the little guy. Getting only big name games from now on. Hope they fix it because it was fun and my kids loved it.
