Lover's Enigma

I’m honestly the biggest scaredy-cat and usually avoid horror games at all costs, but Lovers Enigma is just way too interesting to pass up. I really love the character designs, especially Haruki — he always makes me laugh and takes away some of the creepiness, so I actually feel brave enough to keep going 😭 You can really tell the creators put a lot of love into this game. Nothing but praise for it!

Normally I'm not a big fan of games with a lot of lore, but this one was different! So far, I've done the 3 main routes (still trying to get the secret route..) and I've loved them both (Ren and Ryota being my favorite loll) Genuinely an amazing game and I loved the "Breaking the 4th wall" part with the Omukade! The story is really interesting, I'm not a huge fan of reading but I was fully locked in and enjoying it! Def did NOT cry a bunch of times...haha... Anyways.. I can't wait to finish the game fully!!!

วันนี้พึ่งเล่นจบไป 1 ฉากละ โดยรวมน่าตาดีเลย มีฉากให้ดุ๊ง มีฉากให้หลอน แต่เกมนี้เปิดโหมดดปิด Jump Scare ได้ด้วยนะ อยู่ในการตั้งค่า อาจจะทำให้ความเร้าใจลดลงนิดหน่อย แต่ก็เซฟมากขึ้นสำหรับคนที่กลัว (เสียดายที่ผมต้องไลฟ์จะปิดก็กะไรอยู่) ส่วนใครที่เห็นมินิเกมที่ต้องกดลูกศรตามจังหวะ ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะเล่นไม่ได้นะ ช่วงฉากในห้องน้ำจะมีให้เลือกระดับความยากอยู่เหมือนกัน ของดีต้องลองนะ หนุกๆ

just started it and i must say this game is INSANELY good and i never expected it to be THIS interesting its definitely worth buying <3

This game has been such an experience and the horror aspect of it is a cherry on top. I love all of the characters and they are all connected to each other in a way. The dialogues and the interaction they have for the MC. Love how there is a time mechanic with the flip phone making the experience of the game more fun, exploration and checking each corners of the map to meet or talk to the love interests or other characters. Music, sound effects and the characters overall are nice. I personally think Ryota is the best character based on lore, development, dialogue choices and art overall. I cannot get myself to not choose Ryota when doing the other character's routes. The plot twists and the animations in this are amazing, it has been a beautiful experience as a player who played all types of otomes and visual novels since high school.

The art style and other visual choices are so unique and stunning! It also does a great job making the player feel spooked and unsettled. I do find that the story feels a little fast? It also has some hiccups if you only focus on one character and then accidentally talk to another boy. They talk to you as if you have had previous interactions before which was mildly confusing. With the pacing feeling fast, I don't get to marinate in learning about the world and characters as much as I personally would like. The slot machine mechanic to have success in different interactions was tricky to figure out for a bit, which maybe is what led me to the bad end? I felt like I made the right choices for Haruki's route so this is my main hypothesis. I see a lot of potential in this idea. I do think the aesthetic and art are worth it. Mostly wish there was a bit more story.

My friend recommended this game to me and I bought it blindly, I didnt know that it was a horror game and as a person who isnt a fan of horror stuff, it was quite the experience 🤣 I only knew about the love interests and I started the game with Kazuki in mind but I was so disheartened when I finished the game and realized he doesn't have a route. I thought he'd have one since he appears with the other 3 love interests 🥺 I like the game but it kind of left me wanting more. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a horror mystery game, but the romance part... I want more to be honest. Even after choosing another love interest, I feel like the mc still can't let go of her husband. (I did one route btw) Overall, the game is fun and the storytelling is great in my opinion.

Descubrí el juego el mismo día del lanzamiento, me enamoré de los visuals, de los CGs y de la sipnopsis. Tengo un backlog de otome que mejor no mirarlo pero aun así me ♥♥♥♥ inmediatamente con este. No lo he terminado ni mucho menos pero si me veo con la potestad de recomendarlo en estas nuestras reseñas. Lover's Enigma es un juego hecho con cariño, delicadeza y esfuerzo, tiene sus problemillas si, pero nada que estropee la experiencia de juego. Te encariñas rápido de los personajes, los cuales son muy únicos entre si, pero a la vez tienes esta sensación extraña que algo no funciona como toca, al final la protagonista esta pasando por unos problemas mentales muy grandes y se puede vislumbrar mientras juegas. La música te envuelve muchisimo, tiene una OST magnifica que acompaña mucho el estilo retro horror pixel art en blanco y negro. He terminado mi primera ruta y ya tengo ganas de jugarlo más! A ver que me deparan el resto de rutas y personajes! No acostumbro a jugar otomes en pc, soy más de consolas en ese sentido, pero usando el steam link he podido jugarlo en la tablet y 10/10 lo recomiendo a cualquier persona que le pase lo mismo que a mi! Espero que os animeis a comprarlo y jugarlo por el precio que tiene es un otome excelente! Mención especial a Kazuki! My little meow meow
