Love Flute is a calm, story-focused visual novel with a small supernatural mystery at the center. You play a struggling young musician trying to get by, and the whole game has that quiet “late evening in the city” mood where you’re just chasing small goals and meeting people. The main hook is the strange girl connected to a flute melody and a local rumor. The story doesn’t rush—most of it is everyday scenes that slowly build the relationship and explain what’s really going on. It’s more gentle and emotional than scary. What I liked is that it isn’t only reading. You busk to earn money, then use it to buy upgrades and improve your setup. It’s simple, but it gives you a routine and makes the progress feel earned instead of everything happening only through dialogue. The characters are the reason to keep going. The game focuses on bonding moments, awkward honesty, and soft drama rather than big plot twists. When it aims for touching scenes, it usually succeeds without trying too hard. Visually it’s clean and pleasant, and the music theme fits naturally. The soundtrack helps a lot because the game wants you to feel that “music + memory” vibe, and it supports the emotional parts pretty well. The downside is that the upgrade/busking part can get repetitive, and the story is fairly linear. If you’re looking for lots of choices, multiple routes, or complex gameplay, this will feel limited. Overall, Love Flute is best if you want something relaxing: a romantic, slightly mysterious story with a soft atmosphere and just enough gameplay to keep you engaged between chapters.

I don't know why I bought this. It might have been because I wanted to see what a visual novel game is like since I was curious and I had never played one before. This wasn't really what I was looking for. You should probably just ignore this review.
