Love Alchemy: A Heart In Winter

This is a short HOG but it was much less back and forth than many games in this genre. Most of the puzzles could be solved with items in the immediate area, so you do not have to back up 15 rooms to get a piece of a lock that opened another lock. This makes the game shorter but more enjoyable. You go back through rooms you already played because of the castle layout but it didn't feel like tedium. There are a couple of translation issues when finding objects, but overall it did not spoil the game. The story line was more interesting that some although still flimsy in some areas. If you can get this on sale or as part of a bundle it is a nice addition to your HOG library. (I was given this game free from a Steam HOG group at my request, not from a developer or a company, and not in exchange for a review. The game was bought by another player in a bundle and given to the group, so I do not think that qualifies for the intent of the "Got this for free" checkbox.)

The puzzles sometimes pointless, you don't have to leave a room for a solution. The music is repetitive. The whole thing is cheaply made...

Below average on the "Mountain Crime: Requital" scale. Stunning art, but that's about it. Story was alright, but there were many moments that I questioned the main character's decisions/thought processes. There were also a few mis-translated/not translated points in the game, and a few things where more direction would have been nicer (for example, I received a prompt that would have been helpful at the beginning of the game, at the end of the game). Not bad, but I'd definitely wouldn't recommend buying at full price.

This is a routine hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with mild historical/fantasy/mystery theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames reveals the plot and uncovers the mystery. Unfortunately this one is quite dated and doesn't have proper widescreen support, only displaying 4:3 aspect ratio with no graphics tweaking options. Lack of widescreen support prevents me from recommending this game.

A mediocre short HOG with many flaws pros. ok story 2 endings? cons. very short ( around 1 hour and 40 minutes for the main story) no bonus chapter many misspellings. a leaf is a piece of paper a pool 8 ball is a map? and there is also a russian non translated word which is a dart the hint button is just for show overall i do not recommend this game. it is short and boring. 2/10

played this a while ago and forgot so its not bad game if i remember but wait for sale or price drop

Игра в целом милая, отсылает в 2010 года, когда у таких, как я, в распоряжении были только подобные "мини-игры". В детстве именно в эту игру я не играла, но она мне все равно понравилась. Она очень уютная и не очень долгая. Головоломки интересные, логика не сильно страдает.
