LOVE 3

A very cool plateformer with way more different mechanics than I anticipated which adds a lot of diversity to it ! Also hello Mokuzai Studio Games' discord server :]

Fun game, if you own the previous entries I'd get this on sale since it can be beaten in one sitting (40m), but if you don't own the earlier ones, this is worth full price since it includes the previous games.

After a long time on my backlog, I finally sat down and played this game for my first time. Admittedly, as a fan of 2 and of this game's demo, I already knew I was going to love this one. But... yeah, wow, I think it somehow exceeded that already high expectation. And I know for a fact I'm barely scratching the surface. 2 already had a fair number of secrets, and this one sounds like it has a lot more. Oh, and major, [i]major[/i] spoilers, but [spoiler]the final level actually gave me chills when I turned off the machine and realized that I couldn't place checkpoints anymore, this series continues to impress me by how it manages to seem to tell a story of a sort without any words.[/spoiler] Amazing vibes in this game, amazing soundtrack, fun and varied levels, look please just go play it honestly I could go on about this game for probably hours and I haven't even played it for a whole hour yet despite how replayable it all is. ...have I mentioned it includes remakes of all the previous entries of the series too? It does. Haven't tried those yet but it's probably the best way to play those games or something, I dunno consult other steam reviews on that one. (Though it does seem 2's ranking system is gone sadly. Ah well. Very, very small issue in an otherwise amazing game... suppose it means there's still a reason to go back and play 2! That's neat.)

The definitive edition.

Мінімалістичний платформер, що тяжіє до гігантизму, і йому це дуже личить. Завжди є відчуття що ти знаходишся всередині якоїсь гігантської машини чи великого заводу, а інколи й якоїсь велитенської іншопланетної почвари. Хоч гра і відносно складна, але її не душно проходити завдяки тому що розраб окремою механікою дозволив створювати чекпойнти в будь-якому безпечному місці. А ще в грі класний саундтрек. Також варто відмітити що це не одна гра, а по суті колекція з п'яти ігор: LOVE 1, 2, 3, оригінальна LOVE що вийшла в 2014 (в ній трохи відрізняються рівні), а також перший прототип <3, в якому є теж багато унікальних рівнів, а також унікальних механік.

I love this game's checkpoint placement mechanic, it makes this an accessible precision platformer I can throw myself at until I get the hang of it. The level designs are fun, good variety from stage to stage so gameplay stays fresh. The music is spectacular, really fits the tone, and there's so many different tracks! Good bit of fun for a few bucks.

I got the original Love for free last year when another game store was giving it away to members for free. I liked it so much, I actually paid money for this game a few months later. The play control is pretty precise, and it has to be because every hazard kills you instantly. And there are lots of hazards on every board, especially the later ones. Being allowed to create checkpoints is a life-saver, literally. I found myself using the slo-mo feature a lot more than I'd like to admit. And even with that, I still when through hundreds of lives before I finally beat Love 3. I hope a Love 4 comes out one day.

Wonderful little precision platformer, and the definitive package for this series. You're not only getting the third game here, but the original and it's sequel, along with the remaster of the first game to match the latest entries in terms of visual style. I've lost so much time to this series, and I will continue to lose more with the speedrunning tools available for each entry here. Pick it up, fall in LOVE, and have fun.

Absolutely splendid game. Has an insane amount of content for ten dollars. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of platformers in any capacity.
