Lou's Lagoon

I've really enjoyed my time playing Lou's Lagoon. I'm not super far into the main story but it has been interesting enough to keep me hooked. Is it a little grindy? Yeah, but it's not that bad if you enjoy crafting games like this. I love the platforming aspect and spend more time than I should trying to bounce up mountains I'm probably not meant to climb. Definitely a good game to play on the Steam Deck while relaxing on the couch. The animal like characters are super cute and I love helping rebuild the different islands. The only snag I ran into was not understanding when and what tools to buy/upgrade, so it took me a bit of grinding and selling to get enough currency to progress to the quest I am currently on. I foresee the currency amount continuing to be a problem, but it's nothing that's not fixable with some playtime.

I really love how charming this game is! I am enjoying it so far! The Aestetic is beautiful. A colorful cast of characters! A few minor gripes I have: With games like skyrim able to be executed technically, or more similar to this game recent zelda games, we really shouldn't need loading screens. If we must, we abs should not need them for shops. Whoever popularized holds buttons for accept made a big mistake. This kinds of friction is not welcome here. Like many cozy games adjacent to farm games, the loop is almost tedious comprised of lots of click and old and waits. It would be stronger if I had some kind of mechanic to tune and master slowly.

Exactement le jeu auquel j'avais envie de jouer ces temps-ci, et j'ai beaucoup aimé monter à bord de mon avion pour parcourir les îles, rencontrer les habitants, les aider et secourir l'oncle Lou. La fin de l'histoire est arrivée si vite ; j'espère qu'on pourra un de ces quatre repartir en exploration (l'archipel est plutôt grand). Le jeu regorge de points positifs, de bonnes idées, de quêtes amusantes et de détails qui rendent le tout très vivant, très plaisant. Piloter l'avion est très agréable. La traduction est très bonne (hormis quelques fautes). Les bruitages et les musiques sont très sympas. Les seuls bémols : on peut rester coincé dans le décor (heureusement, l'option À L'AIDE est là) et les temps de chargement sont un peu longs. Les dernières améliorations des gadgets sont aussi très (trop) chères, et les textes sont un peu petits à certains endroits. Sinon, ne faites pas comme moi : n'oubliez pas que vous avez un planeur 🤣 J'ai galéré pour certains passages, parce que j'avais lu trop vite concernant son utilisation 🤭 Bref, je recommande, en espérant une ou des mises à jour de contenu.

What a charming game! Really, lovely art and and a beautiful world. The characters are super cute and I really enjoyed the crafting. It's got a real Slime Rancher vibe to it. Definitely one to pick up if you enjoy a nice cozy crafter - and the biplane is the icing on the cake! I think some negative reviews are due to some early bugs but the dev team are super communicative and looks like they'll iron things out.

Like the game hate the flying

Such a cozy game, I love it. Core gameplay is very straight-forward and easy to pick up. Crafting can feel a little grindy but it's the right amount of grinding to keep me hooked on it- at least for me. It would be great if the game had a chest to store as much materials as possible early on, not sure if it's something you can acquire later on in the game. Overall, it's a great game, I highly recommend it.
