lotus bloom is essentially a draw a line puzzler. connect dots of the same color to a prism to create beams that reach flowers of the same color. the more dots connected the longer the beam, and you might have to charge gray dots with a particular color or change the color of some other dots. after that the lines can be withdrawn and the newly-colored dots can be used to reach further, often more than once to create beams in various directions. dots can be clicked individually to deselect them, but removing the first in a sequence won't make the whole line disappear, just remove that dot's connection. there's some experimentation and trial & error involved until you figure out how things work exactly. good minimalist presentation, sadly without volume settings, windowed mode (alt+enter only makes a non-resizable window), or brightness settings or dark mode, and it's way too bright. 48 levels unlocked one by one in 3 chapters, no on-screen level numbers but there's a proper level select screen. not a new concept, but it's done pretty well here. should take about 2-3 hours (I got stuck near the end), but since it lacks some basic functionality, best wait for a sale (and try the demo in the meantime) because the devs aren't likely to do anything now if they didn't bother around release when they got some feedback. (they said they'd take it into consideration, which always means no.)

This game is a perfect side dish, like a good wine after you eat that rotten sour cheese that makes you feel so angry inside you wanna kill someone JUST LIKE LAST NIGHT'S DOTA MATCH. Then you play this and you feel like life is worth living again.
Jogo incrívelmente relaxante! bem gostosinho de jogar!
Very relaxing and well-polished game with a simple, innovative mechanic. A steal for the price, just get it.
I was one of the beta testers for the game, and must say: AWESOME puzzle game! You may think you've already seen a game with a similar mechanic, but the way the puzzles get more and more creative makes it super refreshing. The peaceful atmosphere makes it very relaxing, and there's a bunch of levels! Would definitely recommend checking it out, especially at this price point.
The puzzles are intriguing, challenging in the right spot. Which together with the aesthetics make it a wonderful relaxing and fun game.
