This game is quite short but I don't think that did a disservice to the story. It had a great atmosphere and scratched the itch of going down a rabbit hole, piecing things together for the bigger picture. I had a lot of fun with it.

Lost Wiki explores mechanics similar to games like Return of the Obra Dinn and The Case of the Golden Idol, but tells its story through the format of a fictional wiki. It's honestly impressive how quickly it pulls you into the same kind of rabbit hole you can spend hours exploring on the real internet, clicking from one hyperlink to another. The atmosphere is also surprisingly strong. Despite its simple presentation, the game is incredibly well crafted. The music, sound design, and visual effects all work together to create a constant sense of mystery and unease. The puzzles are genuinely engaging and rewarding to solve. My only criticism would be that the second half of the game feels a little more straightforward and rushed compared to the first, although it still serves the story well. I also ran into a few puzzles that felt a bit too obscure. I ended up checking a guide for a couple of them, and even then I'm still not entirely sure how the intended solutions were supposed to be deduced. Maybe I simply missed something, but a few moments felt closer to guesswork than logical deduction. Overall, this is an excellent game that absolutely deserves its positive Steam rating and its price tag. It's even more impressive knowing it was developed by a single person. Huge congratulations to the developer for creating such a unique and memorable experience.
