Lost in Spice

Lost in Spice is a VR exclusive cooking simulator similar in theme to Overcooked or Cook, Serve, Delicious! where you prepare a couple of meals for aliens. The game is let down by very low poly art assets, and seems to have been made a VR game as a gimmick, or to prevent comparison with non-VR games, a comparison this game would fail badly at. Developers must learn that if the only thing that makes their game cool is VR, then all that means is VR is cool, and their game isn't cool at all. There's only a small number of recipes to make and the gameplay is fairly shallow. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises.

I Usually never write reviews on games but wow, i feel compelled to write one on this Game. Lost in Spice is amazing. Its a great party game, with me and my friends constantly trying to beat each others score. This game is basically Overcooked VR and i love it. It's free so there is no reason not to get it. The voice over in the tutorial was hilarious and he gave a great, straight forward tutorial on how to play. The only problem i have with this game is that you only get a warning when there is 10 seconds left and i feel maybe there should be another warning, maybe at 30 seconds Because i find myself thinking i have more time, and then the warning plays. In the end for a free game Lost in Spice is an awesome VR game, and super fun to bust out at a party, to SPICE things up a bit.

Эксперименты с ингредиентами и создание уникальных рецептов добавляют игре глубины и реиграбельности. Юмор в диалогах и ситуациях тонкий и уместный, постоянно поднимает настроение. Небольшим минусом могу назвать некоторую повторяемость заданий в середине игры, но новые механики и локации быстро это компенсируют. В целом, "Lost in Spice" - это отличная игра, которая отлично подойдет как для коротких перерывов, так и для длительных игровых сессий. Рекомендую всем любителям кулинарных симуляторов и просто хороших, добрых игр!
