About
Lost Child is a walking simulator and horror game with survival elements.
Immerse Yourself in a Nightmare With No Escape
Andrey wakes up in an endless maze of corridors.
They seem vaguely familiar, but his memory is wiped, and reality distorts with every step. Voices from the darkness, children's screams, sinister shadows — what is this? Hallucinations, memories, or someone's cruel experiment?
Every movement changes the environment. Behind closed doors lies a truth Andrey doesn’t want to remember. But you can't run from the past.
Are you ready to remember what can’t be forgotten?

🌑 Lost Child Lost Child is a horror that doesn't take you by the hand: it leaves you in a dark corridor, gives you a name —Andrey—, and then abandons you there, trying to figure out what's going on. Its strength and its limit coincide: it explains almost nothing. 🧩 Plot (the one the game lets you reconstruct) The story follows Andrey, a man trapped in a kind of distorted mental space: corridors repeating, doors leading nowhere, memories emerging like sharp fragments. There is no traditional “monster”: the true antagonist is the protagonist's mind, which bends, breaks and recomposes itself as you try to advance. The game never clearly tells you what is real and what is not. It's all built to make you feel like Andrey: confused, disoriented, lost. 💭 The meaning (the implicit, unsaid one) Lost Child talks about: feelings of guilt distorted memory returning traumas identity crumbling The “lost child” is not just a person: he is a part of himself, an emotional fragment that Andrey has lost and that play forces you to chase in the dark. 🔦 Lights/positive Heavy and successful atmosphere Darkness that is not only aesthetic, but thematic Sound design that amplifies the feeling of being lost, it is well placed: little noise, but placed at the right times. Short duration that avoids wear and tear and that the game drags on and loses tension The atmosphere works: dark, disturbing, with that sense of bewilderment that remains on you 🕳️ Shadows/negative- It is often not clear what you have to do, and not in the “mysterious” sense: precisely in the “unexplained” sense. Repetitive level design that may seem dispersive and at times it is A fragmented narrative that risks seeming random, it is more of a shadow than a story. Little variety in interactions ⚖️ Final judgment Lost Child is a horror that thrives on atmosphere and symbols rather than gameplay. It's not a masterpiece, it's not a disaster: it's an average experience, but with a precise identity. It leaves you feeling uneasy, but it doesn't accompany you to the end with a solid story. It's a short journey into the mind of a man who has lost something —perhaps a memory, perhaps himself— and who wanders in the dark trying to find it again.
Lost Child is a hallway-driven psychological horror experience clearly inspired by P.T., but it does make an effort to add its own identity on top of that formula. The shifting corridors, environmental storytelling, and gradual memory reveals create a solid foundation, and the sound design and visuals do a good job selling the atmosphere. There’s a steady sense of unease as the game pushes you forward, and mechanically it understands why that looping, claustrophobic structure works for horror. Where it struggles is in clarity and technical performance. The story leans into ambiguity, but at times it crosses into confusion, making it difficult to follow the character’s past or the full meaning behind certain events. Some puzzles and progression moments can feel unclear as well, and performance issues don’t help — certain sections, like the rainy hallway, can cause heavy frame drops that make inspecting objects and moving forward feel rough. Overall, I’d land it around a 3/5. It’s a solid horror game with good presentation and a clear attempt to build on the P.T.-style formula, even if the narrative and optimization hold it back at times. I still recommend it — there’s creativity here, and it’s far from a bad experience — just one that doesn’t fully come together in every area. — The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/
a very nice P.T. game
This game was super scary! Many puzzles, very hard, and i was totally scared the whole time. Recommended 10/10!
it was really good definitely some good dread and jump scares. Was pretty obvious that it was inspired by P.T teaser however there were some technical things that i did not enjoy which was the fact that you cant continue, you have to restart every time you load up the game so i was annoyed by that because i have children and sometimes only have 20 min to play so it needs a continue added
Good scary game, good gfx.
