Lost and Hound

Well, the game is cool. It introduces unique mechanics we've never seen before.

So far I like it. I find the trail to be slightly confusing after the first mission, but it is probably a learning curve like anything. I will update with any developments.

5 Reasons to Play Lost and Hound: 1. You're a flippin' Corgo! 2. Dedicated bork button. 3. Find stuff with your super snoot! 4. Bust bad guys and pee on their boots. 5. Make $$$ sniffing out truffles.

I could not play this game relying just on audio. It's just a drone that indicates that you're headed in the right direction. I would have been more helpful if, say, you followed the sound of the child crying out. Having the sound indicating that you're going in the right direction be unpleasant was also an odd choice. I can see so when I opened my eyes, I could play the game. I had to quit the first real level before I returned to the mother, and then had to repeat it. I just went to the location that I thought I had found the boy, but that didn't work. The game wanted me to follow the white dots the entire way. It was fairly tedious. Also, I noticed that some instructions are only visible on the screen and are not narrated for blind players. If you're blind and want something to play, I recommend The Vale: Shadow of the Crown. This game has no visuals and so it really is fully accessible to blind players.

In this heartwarming game, you play as a Corgi and save lives. You go through various tracking missions where you use canine sense to track down objectives, including locating a lost kid, identifying those in a critical state at a hospital, and locating a criminal's hideout in a police sting operation. As a highly visual person, I initially found the game's mechanics of using scent and audio fairly challenging, though they soon became quite intuitive as the game progressed. They built the game with accessibility at its core, and everything is fully voice-acted, with every character having an individual actor. The game features many experience customization options (including a casual mode that gives more visual hints). There's even an optional voice-over for every element in the menu to be more inclusive of the visually impaired. If you're someone who gets motion sick playing 3D games for long periods, I'd recommend changing the field of view to 90 (as that quickly fixed it for me). At the time of writing, I'm yet to finish the game. I'm yet to fully explore the world hub, second companion options, upgrades, and mini-games. I learned a lot about dogs through this game and how dependent we are on them as a society. I recommend this underrated gem and hope Lost and Hound gets more recognition.

This game is something else and allow me to experince games in a different way.

Good Adventure Game, but please Fix the Buggy Achievements.
