We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
It's pretty janky, kinda awkward in some places with terrain collision, and one of the enemy types is obnoxious in that it can only be hit by special weapons, as well as one of the lategame areas being annoying to navigate, but it's got heart and some decent ideas, it's a good game to just pick up for a weekend, sit down, and just play if you can get over the awful camera shaking.
It's a good game. Is it a little clunky? Yes. Is it a bit old? Yes. Is it beautiful? Does it have a good storyline and exceptional dialogue? Is every character memorable? Yes, yes and yes.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's a cool RPG. Definitely dated in some aspects but still a decent chill game to pass time
Lords of the Crashes and Motion Sickness How this game is sitting at Mixed on Steam is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miracle. This came out after Dark Souls II and somehow feels even jankier, slower, and crashes every 15 minutes. Sure, I could spend hours trying to fix the problems myself, but I'm not the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ developer—I'm the customer who bought the product. So how about you fix your own game? I can make the game crash every single time by simply opening the lore menu. How is that even possible? My God, the amount of times I had to fight The Beast... The game crashed twice when it had around 5% HP left. It almost broke me, but whatever—I beat it again. The save system is easily one of the worst I've ever seen. I cleared an entire area, quit the game normally, came back the next day, and everything had respawned because I hadn't rested at a checkpoint. What in the flying ♥♥♥♥ do you mean? Even when I close the game properly, it feels like it crashed because none of my progress was saved. It's even worse when the game actually crashes and the last checkpoint was 30 minutes ago. Enemies & Bosses The regular enemies get boring fast. Some of their designs are actually pretty good, but it doesn't matter when you're fighting the same handful of enemies for the entire game. The bosses are somehow even worse. Their names are so generic they sound like placeholders: * First Warden * Commander * Worshipper * Infiltrator * Champion * Beast * The Guardian * Annihilator * Lost Brothers * Judge I'm convinced the developers forgot to replace them with actual names. The boss design itself is another huge negative. Aggressive bosses are perfectly fine—but not in a game that's this clunky. You'll get clipped while dodging, take damage from attacks that clearly missed your body, and deal with random one-shot mechanics. It just confirms to me that this game received almost no polish. They simply finished it, shipped it, and called it a day. Nobody played through it and said, "Yep, good to go." Exploration The portals added absolutely nothing for me. The loot could've simply been placed after the boss fights and it would've been less likely to get missed. The challenge rooms are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Darkness everywhere, barely any visibility, and no clear direction. It feels like innovation for the sake of saying they did something different. Was it really that hard to put labels on doors? I actually wanted to explore, but guess what? Everything respawns whenever you change areas. Accidentally walk into a previous zone and now you get to clear the whole place again. The lack of a map hurts the game, and don't even get me started on the "Map DLC." Nobody is going to open folders and game files just to know where to go. Gameplay Issues Picking up items and interacting with objects feels terrible. There's no way anyone thoroughly tested this. Why does every boss drop loot onto the floor instead of putting it directly into my inventory? Same with opening chests—just give me the item. It's such a small thing, yet it's constantly annoying. Even the endings are disappointing. I completed every ending, and honestly, I barely noticed any meaningful differences besides whether you help the girl return to her family or not. "It's a 2014 Game" No. This has nothing to do with it being released in 2014. Dark Souls II came out the same year. Sure, it's also clunky and slow, but this is on another level. In fact, I'd compare this game more to Darksiders, which released four years earlier. After reading all of this, you're probably thinking: > "Wow, you nitpick everything and probably have terrible taste in games. Nobody cares what you think." That's completely fine. I'm not trying to convince anyone. Just look at the achievement statistics. Less than half of Steam players even defeated the second boss, and only about a third made it to the third—which is practically right after it. And the glazing in the Community Hub is insane. Hardly anyone talks about the awful design choices because they "love" the game so much. Conclusion Calling this game merely "bad" wouldn't even do it justice. If you're a Souls veteran, you can eventually get used to the awful combat and speedrun the game in just a few hours. I only finished it because friends kept telling me how horrendous it was, and I wanted to see for myself. I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're new to Souls-like games, stay far away from this one. There are more than enough games that execute this style far better.
This game doesn’t test your skill — it tests your patience and your will to keep the game installed. The character swings weapons like they’re underwater, in slow motion, after doing a full arm workout. Even completely naked, you move like you’re carrying a fridge on your back. “Fast” weapons? Yeah, fast at dealing zero damage while still taking 3 business days to hit. Combat isn’t hard — it’s just unresponsive. You press attack, go make a sandwich, come back, and the animation might be halfway done. Want to dodge? Too bad. You’re locked into your life choices and that swing you started 5 seconds ago. The stamina system is basically a joke: Swing twice → exhausted Dodge once → exhausted Exist → exhausted So most fights turn into: hit once, roll away, wait, repeat… and pray the game actually listens to your inputs this time. Instead of feeling like you’re improving, it feels like you’re negotiating with the game just to function properly. It’s not “tough but fair” — it’s “slow and why”. At some point it stops being a game and starts feeling like a punishment. I still gave this game a fair chance and finished it, hoping it would improve — it never did. Finishing it didn’t change my opinion, it just confirmed it. The core problem stays the same: everything is just too slow.
