It’s the 1920s and the world’s foremost detective is about to embark on his most challenging case yet. Thankfully, in this world that’s not quite like our own, there’s nobody better to crack the case than the great detective and gentleman giraffe, Lord Winklebottom.

I loved the art style and the british humour. The voice acting was also really good. A bit on the shorter side, but very entertaining.
Very cute animals, funny jokes, riddles were ok, not very complicated. Some riddles were not very obvious, bu, again, animals were very cute. Good job!
Delightfully charming and full of clever details and choices. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
One of the very few games I actually regret playing. There is no sense in the plot, there is no mystery, the player has no place in the game and the mediocre humor certainly cannot make up for any of that. The characters. The main characters are... entirely unlikable. They are incompetent and miss basic clues, making you go through heaps of unnecessary steps to get to basic conclusions. (spoiler)
They quite literally are responsible for a character getting killed but past a little joke this is never actually acknowledged.
The giraffe is decently funny on occasion at least, the humor of the hippo consists of indifference and snide coments about other types of animals (animal world racism I guess?). The gameplay. The mechanics are pretty annoying. This is not a big issue but basically you can interact with all objects two ways, and sometimes you think you did it right because you got the relevant information when really you were meant to interact the other way. This then means that important events don't get triggered and you have to find out which object you clicked wrong. The puzzles. Everything you do is tedious and overly complicated. Nothing makes sense. Yes, the game is meant to be humorous and a bit abstract, but you can't risk disregarding player experience for that. But hey, there's the overall mystery at least, right? Wrong. There is no mystery for you to solve. In the beginning you get your answers handed on a silver platter. It's just given to you, but of course you have to still go through many many steps until the characters catch up. At other times you do things that just lead to nothing, only to get handed solutions by other characters (indirect spoilers)
like when suddenly paranormal things become real just to tell you some piece of information or a character happens to have all the objects you need. The worst though is when the game outright lies to you about "facts" just to shock you with some unimpressing plot twist. Yeah. Even the solution to the mystery is something you had no way of figuring out.
Nothing feels satisfying to solve, it doesn't feel like there is space for the player in the game. The ending. [/b ] The big revelation is... nothing short of infuriating. Surprise! You, the player, contributed absolutely nothing to the solving of this case and the main characters barely do either! I normally am on edge very quickly when a game builds any form of suspense but in this game I just did not care. The plot twist wasn't one I felt any excitement about, it just felt like the game laughing in my face as if it's my fault. I also think there was meant to be some commentary on humanity but it felt odd and a bit questionable to me. I did really laugh at one of the final scenes at least. In conclusion, I did not like this game (you probably noticed by now)
7/10
Thoroughly enjoyed this game. It's quirky and funny with great British humour. Story was much better than I expected and the voice acting is great. Lovely visual style and engaging characters. Puzzles are logical and well designed. I found it quite easy and would have liked a bit more challenge - that said the lack of frustration and head scratching did make this a very fun and relaxing gaming experience. Relatively short (took me about 4 hours) but still definitely recommend! I am looking forward to more from this developer.
A bit short but thoroughly enjoyable. I hope there's a sequel.
Very charming point and click adventure game; the only criticism I could offer is that you don't really get a chance to actually deduce anything, unfortunately. Loved the voice acting and characters, and the art was absolutely lovely!
