People are used to games in which the player is given a task and he completes it. But what if you "overfulfill" the task for the game? Go through your loop and find the answer to this question! Pros:

+ Availability: the game is free
+ Simplicity
+ Achievements
+ Humor Minuses:
- Uniformity
- Time
Total: Looking at the developers of "The Stanley Parable" who offered players a new experience in a linear game, Aidan Strong decided that he could repeat their step and made "Loop". The goal of the game is simple - go around the room in a circle and exit the game. Or - run for an hour to see a different ending and collect as many as THREE achievements. What players will not do, for the sake of achievements and closing the game in 100%. They are ready to even aimlessly run about 130 laps in a small room, listening to the developer's comments. Unfortunately, not all of them are "funny" and "not all" the player has time to listen - if he set himself the task of seeing a different ending. This project shows that you can not try very hard in game development to make the player happy. I want to recommend this game - as it is free and easy. But I also want to put a huge "dislike" - for the terrible monotony and boredom.

Fun idea, but still, not a real reason to waste your time with it.
This was a really fun short game! I played it "together" with some of my friends (they watched me play) and we had a great time. It took roughly 15 min for us to "finish" the game (i.e. get the secret achievment), and I learnt more about spam then I think I want to (through my friends googling). I really recommend the game and I hope a more fleshed out version is coming sometime in the future!
Loop'a hoş geldiniz.
Circles go brrrrr fun, quick and playable on Steamdeck
Funny. You either see players having played 3 minutes or +/-60 minutes. There's an achievement for doing many loops, and waiting for a 1 hour timer to go to 0. Without spoilers: It's a Stanly Parable linair game . With spoilers:
You don't have any option to do anything else then to exactly defy him or quit playing. You just walk in a loop around a pillar while goofy stuff shows up that the narrerator uses to try to stop you looping.
At first, this game was simple to interpret. Narrator wants you to run around, doesn't need your input anymore, wants the game to be over. Things change, funny ♥♥♥♥ happens, but you keep running. Eventually, there's nothing left to do, though. The narrator leaves, nothing changes, and you're stuck running in circles, being showered in pixel confetti every time you run a lap. Nothing changes. You keep running. The narrator stays silent. The hallway stays as cluttered as you left it. The timer counts down, but you keep running. The music repeats. It's always the same tune. Eventually, it all gets tuned out. You keep running. You run and run and run and suddenly, you realize you've tuned out absolutely everything you've seen in the game. The confetti pops up, and yet you don't even register it. The door never changes, and yet you've grown used to opening it, you don't even notice when you do anymore. The narrator leaves with an ominous message about a certain number of laps, stays for a few rounds, then disappears. And you're left there, running in a forever repeating hallway, with only a countdown timer to keep track of your experience. You start timing how long a lap takes. You watch the seconds go by. You do math in your head, calculating how long it'll be until you reach that certain number of laps. Until something finally happens. Your motivation for running becomes the confetti raining on your screen. Your persistant running is fueled by the belief that something, anything, will happen when that timer runs out. So you keep running. You forget about the narrator. You forget about the door, the video, the box, and you keep running. For half an hour, you run in silence, accompanied only by the music you've already tuned out 20 minutes ago. And the timer runs out. And you keep running. And you're left wondering.. was it worth it? Was any of this worth it? I suppose.. that's for you to decide. This game left me more depressed than I was when I started playing it. Nevertheless, I'm sure there was more to it. I just didn't have the hope needed to keep going. Would still recommend. Gave me time to psychoanalyze myself and think up this review in my head while playing. And it was kinda funny.
The Stanley Parables weird cousin
That was NOT smooth jazz, you lying prick.
