Look Outside is a survival horror RPG set in a single apartment building. A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into grotesque monsters, leaving the world in absolute chaos. Scavenge the building to seek food, supplies, and weapons while encountering strange characters.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fantastic game. It feels like a mistake that it is as cheap as it is. Just buy it.
Really fun game -- interesting characters & story, super fun designs, beautiful themes of human connection despite the worst of circumstances. Not very frightening although some character designs may be somewhat grotesque, obviously intentionally. I would kill for Audrey. Definitely recommend.
One of the best games I've ever played, theres so much to do. You can't even come close to doing everything in one playthrough.
Not even close to done with this game and ive enjoyed every single bit of horror to it, genuinely diserves more praise as this pixel artistry is way better then its price tag makes it seam. Let alone the sheer replayability!
!Warning: Very Long Text cause i want to tell you about this great game :3 ! Short form: If you have 10 bucks, use them on this. i did, im happy because of it, u probably will be too :D. This game is one of the greatest games i have ever played. Sure, it might not be for everybody so i reccomend you watch like the first 30-50 minutes of gameplay if you are still split. BUT DONT WATCH MORE THAN THAT! Every single room is meant to surprise you with more (sometimes very cute :3) freaks, questlines and secrets, so dont let someone else take that away from you through watching a full Playthrough before playing it. Now about the gameplay itself: When you first play it, its a mixture between luck and good decision-making plus resource management that pushes you forward. After that it is mostly based on gained knowledge imo. However, it is neither too hard nor frustrating on your first playthrough as you always have the opportunity to go back to a last save file if you realize you screwed something up that would have been cool (sure there are some people who say "NOOOO ur ruining it" if u do that but do whatever makes u enjoy this great game the most). The overall gameplay mechanics are a mixture between turnbased combat as well as survival elements. Depends on your taste, for me its a strong 8.5/10, however if you dont like turnbased plus a little RNG it could be much lower (like 4/10 but again only if you SPECIFICALLY dislike the core systems as a whole, not because they are executed badly because they are NOT) Replayability: You can play this game 3 times in a row and still have fun every time you do. The sheer volume of things to do fills up enough to play it for more than 60h without having a playthrough that feels very similar to the other ones you had. The number of available Party members makes it so that no fight will be just like your last Playthrough. The option of Curse Mode/Hard Mode gives you the same amount of Adrenaline as a first time Playthrough of Normal Mode would give you, so it wont get too easy (trust me you will ponder your descision of clicking on it after you got to the Late Game area). I will go as far as to say: IF you enjoyed your first Playthrough and never touch it again, you just made a grave mistake as the 2nd one is almost better than the first time. 9/10 in Replayability Characters: They are great. I dont really get attached to game characters, but almost every party member and some quest givers are just soooo enjoyable. They arent all incredibly deeply written, but they just feel very alive and their ticks and freakishness makes them feel human. they r good :). Very good :3 9.5/10 Graphics: You love it or you hate it. If you like Pixel art, its peak. If you dont, well, i mean its Pixel art, no other way to say it :,). If you like it 8.5/10. I would say its good Pixelart, but only if you like some body-horror/grotesque designs Story: Well written, leaves room for GAME THEORIES (which I love), everythings a mystery at first, the Mysteries pile up and the longer you play the more answers you find yet the more questions you ask yourself. the best part: most answers you find are written by people who only know a fraction more than you do, so the truth is somewhere in between and you fill in the gaps for yourself. however in the end you have a clear picture with only a few spots still left to fill out yourself so its fantastic. The side-Stories and backstories of main characters are cool too, sometimes i wish there were a bit more infos about them but its just because they are so intriguing ans not due to the game being too short (trust me its fs not). So yeah! like 9/10 story! if you like to dig into the lore yourself, there are plenty of videos about it ;) Soundtrack: it somehow feels nostalgic. Idk how else to describe it. it has everything you want indie sounds to be. 10/10 Love: The love put into this game and ongoing support is marvelous. They made a Character a partymember just cause we wanted him to be one. They made an extra Mode and an update thats like a dlc for free. They love this game as much as we do. 10/10 If you really read all of this i am truly sorry for taking so much of your time, but thanks for spending it. Now go spend even more time on this game, as will I (probably) :). Maybe leave a comment if you did buy it after reading this and tell me how it went :D. Have a Good Day/Night :)
great rpg with alot of hidden things to do or interactions to find. thers like 13 endings a bunch of companions. the game has hidden things like Casanova mode where if you put your name as casanova it unlocks a hidden mode where you can kiss some enemies and itll charm them. its overall just a neat game worth every bit of the 12 dollars. should be worth 30 imo
