Most turn-based RPGs don't use body horror as the foundation for their atmosphere and gameplay, but this makes a good case for why those are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COWARDS! Gorgeous, creepy, hilarious, fun, and overall just a masterclass in how to blend two genres you never thought could work as well as they do together.

This game is amazing.

one hell of a throw back to early 90s RPGs, and i mean that in the best way possible. The combat is surprisingly engaging, for how simple it is, and there are TONS of secrets and endings to find. i give it an A+ for gameplay loop and re-playability. Now, for the horror part of the game. absolutly perfect. the monster designs can be un-nerving as hell, and the over all vibe of the game would do H. P. Lovecraft proud. This game doesn't use cheap jump scares, and just shock value alone to make it creepy. Its the setting, ambient noises, and most importantly, story telling all work togeather to make a horror masterpiece. A+ for the horror vibe. if you got 10 bucks to spare, better to spend it on this, rather than a fast food meal or a handy at your local truck stop.

Entré a este juego esperando una experiencia de horror cualquiera para pasar el rato y me ha sorprendido de todas las formas posibles. Es un rpg fácil de entender al principio pero aprovecha al máximo todas sus mecánicas, es muy divertido experimentar con todas las opciones que te da. Hay montones de secretos, misiones, personajes, enemigos e interacciones por descubrir. Es de esos juego que puedes pasarte varias veces y seguir encontrando cosas nuevas. El arte y la ambientación son excelentes, los diseños de enemigos y npcs son todos únicos, horripilantes, divertidos, aquí hay creatividad en su máxima expresión. La música es el alma de este juego, logra hacer mucho más que solo causar tensión, sentí demasiadas cosas escuchándola, miedo, calma, fascinación, incertidumbre, inspiración, pánico. Los mejores momentos de este juego me han causado un gran asombro y en gran parte a sido gracias a su excelente música. La historia me parece simplemente hermosa lo cual es extraño en un juego de horror cósmico absoluto, con muchos momentos y conceptos totalmente horripilantes. Sin embargo a pesar de que ocurren cosas verdaderamente terribles, trágicas y oscuras en este juego en su centro mantiene un increíble sentimiento de esperanza, hay muchos momentos de comedia geniales y sobre todo tiene un conmovedor amor por la humanidad y todo lo bueno que hay en ella. Simplemente una experiencia de 10 que recomiendo a cualquiera que esté pensando en darle una oportunidad.

What a unbelievably special and unique game. The story, the exploration, the combat, the characters, the soundtrack... Everything about this game was such a phenomenal, well-rounded and incredibly immersive experience for me. I can't say enough positive things about this game, it absolutely blew me away. It's very rare to find a single-player story game experience like this that, the exact second I finished it, I wanted to start a brand new file to explore and try new characters/parties. If I had played this in 2025 closer to its release, it would have been my GOTY without a doubt. As an overall note: if you like the art style and enjoy turn-based combat, I'm nearly 100% certain you'd have an absolute blast with this game.
