I have no clue what I've been doing for 1 hour, yet I was quite entertained. I gave up in the mines because it's pitch black there, I also had no clue where I was, where I was meant to go. Flying blind is not such a great concept for a game. Lots of things could be improved (camera, feedback, visibility, clearer controls, sound options...), but do try your luck: the art is pretty good, when one can see it.
2 boyutlu araç macera oyununda cılız zeplininizi tehlikeli bir yolculuğa çıkarın, parçaları ve yakıtı çalarak geminizi güvenliğe ulaşacak kadar uzun süre çalışır durumda tutun.

Lonely Skies is a 2.5D 3D rendered 2D puzzle platformer where you play a low poly blob and bounce around a "steampunk" themed platformer environment, with push/carry mechanics and a grappling hook so you can swing around the place. This is a student project and thus has appropriately been given away for free on Steam, which is of course the only way to do it. The visual presentation is decent, with the exception of the low poly assets. Low poly assets always come across as a copout/shortcut used when people want to excuse lack of ability/budget for "style". At least it's not as bad as the amateur developers favourite crutch, 2D retro pixel "art". It's understandable that these are students, but the poor visual aspect of the low poly art still makes this less than it could have been. The real problems are with the lack of polish around the gameplay. While all the elements "work", it's clunky and unsatisfying. It's possible to sling yourself into places that are really hard to extract yourself from. This really feels like it needs a few more iterations of gameplay testing and polish to fix up the control feel and handling. It's nice that this is free and the aspects of the game that are of decent quality show the students here have great potential to do much bigger and better things. As a game for serious PC gamers, however, this 2.5D low poly platformer isn't quite enough for me to recommend.
There is a lot of potential for this! The art style is gorgeous and the soundtrack is impressive. Most of the issues or bugs come from the physics engine and/or lag. A settings menu would also be nice. I look forward to seeing what this game evolves into and future projects.
Well...not sure if I like it or not. Way too laggy, to put it mildly. menu and other area was fast, no problem, but when playing game, well, it's almost frame by frame play, laggy, and unable to compensate. Hope developer make an update for better game play soon, until then, I'll just wait till update so I can play normally, and not wholeheartedly laggy.
