“Lona: Realm of Colors” is a point and click adventure in nature focusing on art and narration instead of fetch puzzles and dialogue. Each level is an abstraction of Lona’s story and it is up to you to bring peace and balance to her painting and find out what has happened to her.

真的,巨美,巨好玩 非常值得一试的一款游戏 即使你不会英文(里面没有对话—— 一个非常艺术的游戏
I really loved this game! It was short and sweet. the art and emotions were really beautifully conveyed, the music is gorgeous. My only complaints are that I wish the music would transition a little better in the game instead of cutting off, and I think the price is too high for the amount of content.
A short and beautiful point-and-click art game. You see various paintings by Lona, the main character, and solve some puzzles by going between light and dark version of the same scene - there is no walking around, just panning around the images for clues. The art is absolutely gorgeous and I love the different styles, and the music is quite relaxing. There is a vague story but there is no text or speech in the game so it's largely up to your own interpretation. Some of the puzzles are on the tough side and don't necessarily seem logical, and sometimes the clicking has to be very precise. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I would recommend it to players who enjoy walking simulator and art games.
The art and music are gorgeous, but they almost don't feel worth it when the game is so short. I like the concept of the story a lot, but I'm not a fan of the almost static puzzle gameplay. As an original backer I thought it would be different.
Lona is a very particular sort of game, a story of loss and a mind's struggles with it, and it is excellently designed for telling that story: the music, the imagery, the hand-drawn style of the art, all fit perfectly with what it seeks to convey. It is not a long game (I'd peg it at roughly 90 minutes), but even that is fitting, too much time and its poignancy might be lost in the clutter. The only real flaw in the game relates to that, a single one of its puzzles could perhaps use some more clear indications as to its arrangement. It is solvable with a bit of experimentation, but I definitely felt engaging in trial and error there was the one point of divergence in the game's otherwise cohesive mood. Still, that was a minor issue in what is overall an excellent game.
I enjoyed the game which is why I'm recommending it; though, the notes made by the negative reviews are on point. I got caught up on parts because the there was no real indication to solve the "puzzle," sections where I had to click everything or just look up a play through which is very unfortunate. "Solutions are rarely signaled in any way, and far too often what should be intuitive is unintuitive for no apparent reason (eg applied anticlockwise, and only anticlockwise, despite nothing else in the screen working the same way)." -- AngoraFish It's aesthetically pleasing, peaceful but creepy, and I connected on an emotional level, so I still don't regret playing it. I do hope the creator(s) try again and take the notes into consideration.
The art is really pretty and I love the concept, and the developers have said it's more of an artistic experience than a game-game, but it's just too simple to be interesting. The game play isn't very exciting and the story is so simple that discovering more about it wasn't intriguing at all. I wanted very much to like this game as I helped Kickstart it back when it was in early development, but I can't honestly way that I enjoyed it. I also got locked on the last level because the first puzzle of one of the last levels won't allow me to complete it. I looked up a walkthrough just in case I was doing something wrong. I wasn't. The game won't let me proceed.
It's nice, not *brilliant* but it's a nice way to unwind after spending 30-odd hours on "The Last of Us part 2", as I just have. It's a mediation on loss and how to deal with it presented in a beautiful hand drawn style. The point-and-click puzzles are on the simple (mechanical) side but are occasionally a little obtuse. I did resort to a video walk through for a couple of things, but I'd say that's par for the course. Anyway, it's all presented nicely and it's got a nice message, worth a go for a few pounds.
Irritating puzzles where half of the solutions seemed totally random and there was no narration, which meant that nothing had any context and the whole thing seemed flat and pointless. Such a waste of all that beautiful art!
I am a backer of this game. This is more of a relaxing/atmospheric game than puzzle game, the closest analog I played would be Samorost. The art is beautiful and it transforms as the game progresses and puzzles are solved. The music makes a good background for this. The story is inferred from the artwork and its transformations. The gameplay is fairly basic, with interaction based more on associations than some complex logic. And yes, the game is quite short, I finished it in one sitting (~1 hour).
