I refunded this I can post the video if the creators want to see it for feedback upon request, but the camera angle literally beats you to death it makes it incredibly inconvenient to move and if this wolf changes elevations he jumps by his own volition making it VERY difficult to be on top of some of the roofs and maneuver. The theme/aesthetic is the best part of the game by far, but even though the wolf** can move well at times the camera being a spas and the way he has to move in a full circle to go left and right just about make this unplayable. I also fell straight through the map in the second area which means you have to restart since there's no continue so that's really not great. EDIT: I did read the description and saw there's two camera angles I'm pretty sure this isn't brought up in the tutorial, but you can use 1 and 2 to change angles they're both pretty terrible. 2 zooms in and you can actually go straight left and right which is nice but your zoomed in and can only look straight. 1 is the default camera angle which has the problems stated above.
This game had a lot of promise, and I was pretty excited to play it at first... but after playing it I couldn't even stand to continue for more than an hour. PROS: Gorgeous music. The background audio is lovely and I could listen to it all day Texture and Lighting. The textures are charmingly polygon with slanted sunlight reminiscent of dusk on an autumn day. CONS: The Camera angles. They made me extraordinarily nauseous. They either turn too sharply or not enough, and this comined with Wonky controls (combined with above) do not make the game enjoyable to play. turning my character around was a pain in the butt to pick up simple objects. Impossible to tell what you can interact with. - because of the gorgeous shading on the entire world, it is actually quite hard to tell if there are any objects at all outside of the ball in the tutorial that you can interact with. Story??! The game developers claim this is a game with a story... but the cutscenes or whatever is supposed to set the story must have been skipped for me because the game immediately opened and dropped me into some... farm? where there were hundreds of crystal things floating about... and.. thats it. I have no idea what the game was supposed to be about. There's no system that tells you how close you are to reaching a goal, no map, no reminders of the current quest if any, and I couldn't figure out WHY i was supposed to grab the crystals... which are everywhere. a gorgeous world with a lot of promise, it just was not fun to play after a while because there was nothing to interact with, the camera made me sick even on manual control, and I had no investment in a story that was not presented to me. This game needs to be reviewed by the devs, and tweaked before I give it another shot. AGAIN! YOU HAVE GREAT POTENTIAL... but... poor execution.
Woof! Woof! :)
Cute :3 Good game for children my daughter loves it
Worst game, featuring wolves, that I've ever played. The whole game feels like a kid, without any gamedesign knowledge, copy pasted some stuff from presets to this state of art. There isn't even a menu or settings. The controls are bad and lack of keyboard ones and you cannot even safe the game.
I love wolves and when I say this I really mean it, but I cannot recommend this game even though it has so much potential that it breaks my heart. After spending one hour and a half exploring the first area, I decided to proceed to the second one. Since I had to leave and there is no manual save, I hoped that the game autosaves at certain times (at least to access each new area we unlock after using the portals). Guess what? Tough luck, it doesn't. So now if I want to continue, I need to replay the whole first area again. It feels just like playing old school cartridge games on the consoles and you start from level 1 every time. As written in the description that there are 6 areas and there are plans for more, I don't know if starting the game from scratch might be the best solution. The game is indeed relaxing when everything runs as expected, though I encountered many times when the camera controls were beyond hope or the FPS dropped significantly when the game was barely playable or I literally fell through the floor and started swimming around the map underground. Overall, I like exploring as much as I can, but this game doesn't give me the luxury to do this since all of my progress is lost upon quitting the game. Therefore, the collection part of the game disappoints.
Pretty fun game! The art style is beautiful and the sounds are also great!!
