"Can you take him in for a while?" - One fateful night an old friend drops by with an orphan boy and asks me to take him in. And not just any boy - there seem to be some hidden secrets bubbling just beneath the surface of that innocent face.

10\10 would adopt Jake he's so cute uwu
Considering that is my first VN game I ever played, this is honestly great, I am not fan of VN titles since they really bore me if I only keep reading dialogues, but this one hooked me up that I have to play many times to get and understand what is going on since I keep getting bad ending for Jake. I'm still trying to get the rest of the ending and the true ending. But I didn't expect that a game would actually make me think of my decisions since the money is also limited and I have noticed that one time I did extra work 3x Jake went from Calm to Average that I avoided it in some part of the game, but made me miss an item that is very crucial to unlocking some of his scenes that will give your trust an increase. So far my highest trust is 119 and I heard that you need to get past 120 in order to get a decent ending. All I have left is Andy's ending and I will continue playing this until I get all the endings. Sounds exaggerated, but I really don't like leaving games unfinished. I like the artwork too especially for Jake. His personality is hard to grasp because he suffered a lot for a child of his age. Sonia is definitely mysterious and so is Andy. I guess what I just need now is the hint on how to unlock Andy's G.E and B.E since I really can't understand his attitude.
Yes I would recomend this as I quite enjoyed it. The thing I would change is what's with Andy and not telling us anything? He keeps implying but won't just say it. Although I really liked Jake and his character arc.
Quite possibly the cutest game ever...Jake is absolutely adorable ! S' so easy to understand nd really entertaining ! Would love for some easy to access guides though so I could get all the endings ><
I'm going to limit my commentary on the game play for this one, as I knew going in this really isn't the type of game I like to play. The game play was boring to me, but I expected it to be. As far as visual novels go though, there is more choice and intractability than most other games. For it's genre, it's innovative. Game play aside, the art style grabbed my attention, and the story kept it gripped through multiple breakthroughs. It's adorable, it's sad, and if it were an anime I'd probably be obsessed with it. For the price, I got a fair amount of entertainment out of it, and if I were to go back in time I would still play it again. If you don't normally play visual novels, I wouldn't recommend this to you. If you are bored though and visual novels are your go to, I'd say give it a chance. The little one deserves your attention.
I did play this game a few times already, and while I do love the characters, the setting, and the overall vibe of the game, I find it quite frustrating. In the beginning of the game, you're being told that hints will appear every so often, to guide you and let you know what to focus on next. However, after about 1,5 months, it doesn't really seem to happen anymore. Despite the game letting me know that I did make the "right" decision (basically telling me that my in-game choices will lead to a positive outcome), that just never happened to me. Maybe that's just me, but I heard the same thing from others. What I do think the game lacks is balance, and actual hints like it's mentioned in the beginning of the game.
