Take on the role of Six, a lone child lost in a massive metal vessel known as the Maw, surrounded by dangerous, distorted versions of adults. You’ll need to do your best to escape in one piece or your fate will be worse than you ever dared dream.
You wake up in a damp, dark room. Your sole possession is a brass lighter. You have no memory of how you got here, but it’s clear that you are in danger. Only your keen eyes and quick wits can get you out in one piece.
This world is not meant for children, but you can use your stature as an advantage with a bit of imagination. Climb drawers and shelves to find child-sized passageways through The Maw too tiny for the adults to reach and you’ll be safe… at least for a while.
The inhabitants of the Maw have only one use for children, and it’s never pretty. Children who don’t want to get caught should stay hidden and move carefully when they’re around. Under certain circumstances, a distraction might avert their attention long enough for you to scuttle away scott-free. Be careful, if you accidentally make too much noise, the Residents are quite determined once you’ve caught their eye.
Sometimes, there’s no other choice but to run. If you can stay alive long enough to get somewhere the Residents can’t reach you, you might survive.

Oh to play this game like the first time... Little Nightmares delivers top tier horror quality and expands on boring average Horror slop, each little step Six takes, every candle you light, every Nome you hug, every horrifying monster you encounter, it is all just an amazing experience. I recommend.

Un juegazo hermoso que entrega una experiencia inolvidable. Little Nightmares tiene una de las mejores ambientaciones que haya visto en un juego, el terror de ser atrapado por una criatura salida de una pesadilla esta presente en cada momento gracias a sus escenarios y estética tan inmersiva. Su historia, a pesar de ser confusa y generar dudas, es suficiente como para que quieras saber mas de este mundo en el que se encuentra la protagonista. ¿Por qué estamos aquí? ¿Por qué hay monstruos? ¿Qué hacen los gnomos? Todo esto se encuentra en el misterioso y a la vez hermoso pero terrorífico mundo de Little Nightmares.

The gameplay remains simple but effective, combining exploration, stealth, platforming and environmental puzzles, although some sections can feel a little clunky and the relatively short adventure leaves you wanting more. Its biggest strength is undoubtedly its atmosphere, with every room feeling like a twisted storybook brought horribly to life, while the deliberately mysterious narrative encourages you to piece together the meaning behind what you're seeing rather than spoon-feeding you answers. Highly recommend getting the DLC in order to add to the lore and experience the story. You won't regret it. Little Nightmares is an atmospheric, but extremly boring puzzle and platforming game. You fail because the controls are at first very counterintuitive or the depth perception just isnt there, and once you got a feeling for that you keep failing because yellow raincoat can't throw or just refuses to grab the right edge. Honestly, i dont understand where the hype over this game comes from, the ones that did hype it i assume didnt play the game and just watched it on Youtube. I agree, it can be fun to come up with crazy theories, but for a game there just isnt enough and without a secondary source there isnt much story to it either. Lastly if you decide to pick up Little Nightmares, play the enhanced edition instead of this version.
