About
The Little Nightmares series has been captivating millions of players worldwide since 2017. Now it’s your turn to try to survive the first entry in most charming horror series ever made.
Take on the role of Six, a lone child lost in a massive metal vessel known as the Maw, surrounded by dangerous, distorted versions of adults. You’ll need to do your best to escape in one piece or your fate will be worse than you ever dared dream.
You wake up in a damp, dark room. Your sole possession is a brass lighter. You have no memory of how you got here, but it’s clear that you are in danger. Only your keen eyes and quick wits can get you out in one piece.
This world is not meant for children, but you can use your stature as an advantage with a bit of imagination. Climb drawers and shelves to find child-sized passageways through The Maw too tiny for the adults to reach and you’ll be safe… at least for a while.
The inhabitants of the Maw have only one use for children, and it’s never pretty. Children who don’t want to get caught should stay hidden and move carefully when they’re around. Under certain circumstances, a distraction might avert their attention long enough for you to scuttle away scott-free. Be careful, if you accidentally make too much noise, the Residents are quite determined once you’ve caught their eye.
Sometimes, there’s no other choice but to run. If you can stay alive long enough to get somewhere the Residents can’t reach you, you might survive.
Can you make it through the Maw to freedom? Six is counting on you. Good luck, little one.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 9.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

MUITO BOM!
fyr game
Throughout my playthrough I had mixed feelings about Little Nightmares. It has a lot of the puzzle platformer elements that I enjoy and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, I think that the gameplay and presentation are sometimes at odds with each other which can lead to frustration. Little Nightmares gives the player very little exposition right from the start. It drops you into a creepy inhospitable world where everything seems dark, damp and dirty. There's a few minor cutscene type moments but no exposition. Most of the storytelling and lore just comes from the gameplay and the environment. The scenarios you end up in paint an intentionally blurry picture of the goings on in this world. It's very imaginative and left me wondering about where I actually was, who the inhabitants truly were, and where Six, the player character, came from. This was a big driving force behind me wanting to complete the game. While the gameplay and puzzles are relatively simple I found myself often frustrated with this part of Little Nightmares. The controls are a bit wonky and imprecise. This may be intentional as you are playing as a frightened child. In that sense it captures the right feeling, but it can make platforming and interacting with objects a chore. The foggy dark environments also make it difficult to see what you are doing or where you are going. This combination makes for a lot of unfair deaths, and aimlessly trying random things to progress. I don't mind trial and error but I need to be able to clearly know what went wrong for that to feel satisfying. Ultimately, I'm glad I played the game and I plan to play the sequel. For me the Little Nightmares world is morbidly fascinating enough to keep going. I just wish it was a bit tighter and easier to navigate.
