Take on the role of Six, a lone child lost in a massive metal vessel known as the Maw, surrounded by dangerous, distorted versions of adults. You’ll need to do your best to escape in one piece or your fate will be worse than you ever dared dream.
You wake up in a damp, dark room. Your sole possession is a brass lighter. You have no memory of how you got here, but it’s clear that you are in danger. Only your keen eyes and quick wits can get you out in one piece.
This world is not meant for children, but you can use your stature as an advantage with a bit of imagination. Climb drawers and shelves to find child-sized passageways through The Maw too tiny for the adults to reach and you’ll be safe… at least for a while.
The inhabitants of the Maw have only one use for children, and it’s never pretty. Children who don’t want to get caught should stay hidden and move carefully when they’re around. Under certain circumstances, a distraction might avert their attention long enough for you to scuttle away scott-free. Be careful, if you accidentally make too much noise, the Residents are quite determined once you’ve caught their eye.
Sometimes, there’s no other choice but to run. If you can stay alive long enough to get somewhere the Residents can’t reach you, you might survive.

Атмосферная, но консольное управление и вид сбоку - это кошмар. Когда не можешь попасть в проем, потому что вид сбоку не дает понять, когда ты в него попадаешь, а консольное управление создает хаос в перемещении.
游戏体量不算特别大，但整个流程很完整，压迫感也一直在线。 解谜和逃脱的节奏也不错，难度不会太夸张，但需要观察环境和把握时机。被怪物追的时候还是挺紧张的。也正因为这样，每次成功躲过去或者跑出去，都会松一口气。 美术风格是很大的加分项，怪物设计很有记忆点，场景也很有想象力。虽然游戏整体偏黑暗，但画面表现很精致，很多地方甚至有一种诡异的美感。

My feelings on Little Nightmares 1 are very mixed so I'll cut things short. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Delightfully frightful graphics. - Fairly decent plot. - Challenging puzzles that test the players bravery. - Has a very intriguing final boss to fight. Cons: - Lackluster ending. - Hiding spaces don't hide the player very well. Trust me I would know because I died too many times. - Puzzles can be a bit vague so you stuck on levels for longer than you would admit. Perhaps its a skill issue on my end. - Definitely not worth the original price. Get it on a sale like I did. - Doesn't have much replayability once you finish the game. Do I think spending 6 precious hours on this game was worth it? No. Instead I recommend you try: The Walking Dead Definitive Version, The Last Of Us (all parts), No I'm Not a Human, Iron Lung, Left 4 Dead, or any indie horror game you find worth wasting your time on. Sounds shameless but watching gameplays of the series is more entertaining. I will not rate this horribly because its close to my heart in many ways.
