Little Dragons Café

Partendo dal presupposto che mi aspettavo un prodotto decisamente diverso ( c'è di mezzo il "papà" di Harvest Moon, il che insomma mi pareva "tutto dire") non mi sento di sconsigliarlo. Il gioco è carino e rilassante ma di gestionale ha davvero ben poco: non è punitivo in caso di errori (male che va si perdono clienti nelle fasi avanzate di gioco rallentando l'avanzare della trama) e alla fine ci si limita a raccogliere risorse in zone realizzate con poca fantasia e meno curate rispetto l'interno dell' LDC; il fine ultimo è farsi i fatti di alcuni bizzarri personaggi che incontreremo durante la storia (il fulcro è questo insomma). Pro: - Trama simpatica, le storie dei vari personaggi che ospiteremo nel LDC sono ben curate, alcune divertenti ed altre melanconiche ma comunque piacevoli - Per rilassarsi ci si rilassa sia per il ritmo di gioco, che per l'ambientazione e la musica di fondo - Volare sul dorso del drago ha un che di soddisfacente - Carina la personalizzazione del colore della bestiola a seconda dei cibi che gli si da ( Rosso, Verde, Blu, Bianco e Nero con sfumature annesse) - E' in italiano Contro: - Non è un vero gestionale come si vuol far credere - Quello che si potrebbe definire "combat" è mal realizzato - Una volta conclusa la trama e raccolte le varie ricette c'è poco da fare di interessante (non l'ho finito ma informandosi in giro si arriva a questa conclusione) - Spesso quando il drago attacca i mostri in prossimità di fonti d'acqua il drop vi finisce dentro e risulta impossibile da recuperare, il che è frustrante - Dopo una decina di piatti il metodo di preparazione dei piatti diventa noioso, sopratutto in caso si voglia fare scorta di cibi da dare al drago (è un piccolo mini-gioco rhythm game) Voto complessivo personale: 6,5 In sostanza consiglio l'acquisto del gioco se cercate una quarantina di ore di relax senza troppe pretese ma SOLO e SOLAMENTE se ben scontato dato che il prezzo pieno è una presa in giro nei confronti dei giocatori per quel che offre.

Went to play and got a black screen with music every time. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but nothing helps. I've never had this happen with any game on Steam and when I pair that with the reviews, it doesn't look good - especially with this massive price tag. It's not me, if my system can run BG3 on ultra settings, it should be able to open this game. Hopefully I can get a refund considering I could never actually get it to run.

This game is charming and cute; the art style, character design, and the idea of the gameplay is what drew me in to buy it, plus it was recommended by a friend. Thankfully I got it on sale during the Steam Summer Sale though, because I have yet to see how this game is worth $60-$70??? The pacing is slow but that's not the main issue, the issue is that the game/world feels incomplete. It doesn't run very well; the NPCs bump into you and halt your movement constantly, and the render distance is almost nonexistent. There is no map, not many areas opening up very quickly, no indication on controls or how to unlock certain recipe fragments that are behind obstacles or too high to reach. The characters so far are very one-note, and while the story seems cute it takes hours for it to go anywhere. They also seem to add a new character almost every scene, before I've even gotten to know the last one. I'd like to sit down and really make progress in this game, but the pacing is too slow for me to feel satisfied after even a few hours. This sounds like exactly my type of game on paper, but unfortunately I'm a pretty disappointed. I'll probably continue it because I want to get my money's worth, but I would not recommend buying this game at full price even if you think you'll enjoy it. I hate to be harsh, but this is a completely honest review. I think it has a lot of potential, but in its current state it's definitely not worth the $70 CAD I would have paid if it wasn't on sale.
