About

Two Worlds. Two Heroes. One Goal.
Lionheart: The Spirit Within is an atmospheric 2.5D metroidvania about a boy trying to rescue his parents by traveling through two interconnected worlds.
Switch between the real world, where you play as a vulnerable boy, and the spirit world, where you become a powerful lion.
The same locations exist in both worlds, but they can look, feel, and play completely differently. Paths, enemies, obstacles and opportunities change depending on which world you are in.
Survive in the Real World
The boy cannot fight his enemies directly. Hide, avoid danger, use stealth, interact with the environment and find another way forward.
The abandoned hospital is only the beginning. The full journey will take you through different locations in the real world, each with its own reflection in the spirit world.
Fight in the Spirit World
As the lion, face corrupted creatures using powerful movement abilities and close-range combat.
Defeating an enemy is not always the end. Cleanse corrupted spirits and save the souls trapped within them.
Solve Puzzles Across Two Worlds
Many obstacles cannot be solved from only one side.
Switch between the boy and the lion, study both versions of the environment and use the differences between the real and spirit worlds to find the solution.
Actions and discoveries in one world can help you progress through the other.
Two Heroes, Two Ways to Play
The boy relies on stealth, intelligence and interaction with the environment.
The lion relies on combat, mobility and supernatural abilities.
Progress requires learning how to use both of them together.
Save Your Parents
The boy's journey begins with one goal: find and rescue his parents.
Their fate is connected to the spirit world and the forces hidden within it. As the journey continues, the boy will discover what happened to them, why they were taken, and what his connection to the lion truly means.
Explore Two Versions of One World
Travel through different real-world locations and discover their transformed counterparts in the spirit world.
Every new place reveals another part of the mystery and new ways in which the two worlds interact.
