About
Explore countless underground dungeons and face a variety of creatures from European folklore. Help to rebuild Sigiswal using the upgrade system, which unlocks advantages and new areas in the village. Face your opponents with weapons of your choice, which allow different fighting styles and special attacks. A roguelite action RPG with lots of exploration, fast and tactical hack'n'slay battles and treacherous traps. And mountain devils - they're just everywhere!
Embark on a dangerous journey where every defeat has its price. Do you hate losing? Then choose your path carefully, because death will take your hard-earned loot! And as if that wasn't enough, the rune curse increases with every fatal exit, which can cost your hero valuable bonuses.
Team up with friends and explore the underground in multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. Good friends share everything, so why not life points? One life bar for all comrades-in-arms, because real friends fight through thick and thin. Or do they?
Lindwyrm offers you a selection of weapons that enable different attacks. Choose how you want to fight. Will it be the sword or the bow today? Find your style and let your hero shine!

Evil lurks in the Underground... and with it deadly traps, barricades and puzzles that can thoroughly spoil a quick passage. Jump over dangerous ravines, find secret rooms and navigate through swinging axes. Just the normal everyday madness.
Help the villagers rebuild Sigiswal. In the Underground you will find many materials that are urgently needed. The more the village recovers, the more quests, stores and other bonuses you can unlock. You choose what is rebuilt and when, giving Sigiswal your own touch.

Use the power of the ancient runes to improve your hero. You can unlock boosts on the rune board and activate effect runes that you find in the Underground. The additional effects offer you useful and powerful advantages in three categories, whose influence on the battle should not be underestimated. But be careful! If you die, the rune curse will sweep across the board and take away your effects. In addition, each death blocks an effect slot, meaning you can activate fewer effects.

Do you want to venture underground with caution or take full risk? No problem! Lindwyrm offers three difficulty levels, allowing you to decide how tough the challenge should be. The higher the level, the more damage you can take, but you also get more loot. At the hardcore level, one wrong step can be your last, and you must start again with a new hero.

Once upon a time, evil sorcerers tormented people day in and day out and made their lives more difficult. The terror was so great that people began to fight back and sent out heroes to drive the sorcerers underground.
Water under the bridge, all peaceful. At least that's how the young people in Sigiswal see it, while the elders still tell the old stories, filled with fear. But then the earth shakes and creepy monsters emerge from every crevice. When you reach the shores of the village, the whole place is in ruins. Countless people are missing and the monsters underground will not rest.
Will you help the villagers and venture into the depths? And where are all the heroes when you need them?
Lindwyrm’s use of German and European creatures and hero tales offer a change from the usual fantasy worlds and will retell the well-known and the forgotten stories.

Game should be called "run around and do puzzles all day game" not entertaining for me. Requested refund.
Challenging ARPG with platformer elements, puzzles, town building and a innovative co-op mode. Progression is well thought through, with a ton of quests and stories to explore, and feels rewarding as you improve the town with materials and your character with runes and awesome loot that you found. Venturing into Lindwyrms dungeons, you'll encounter challenging fights and puzzles and awesome lesser and greater bosses in different immersive settings. With the devs always having an ear to the ground when it comes to community input, this game is evolving constantly. I have a great time with it, no matter if alone or with a party and I'm looking forward for more awesome ideas to make it into the game!

Game will be Removed Soon: Developer ran out of Money So Another Dropped Early Access Game Developer Studio is closing down. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2280020/eventcomments/599653921546367164?snr=2_groups_100006_ for Preservation:
An Important Announcement from Ghostwhale Games This is one of the hardest messages we’ve ever had to write. The gaming industry can be relentless, and despite our passion and dedication, we have reached a point where we can no longer continue Ghostwhale Games. Our Early Access launch of Lindwyrm did not generate enough revenue to keep the studio running, and despite all our efforts to reach a broader audience and find support, we were unable to secure a publisher or additional funding. As a result, we are no longer allowed to sell Lindwyrm. However, for those of you who already own the game, we will continue to release updates to address bugs—and, if circumstances allow, we may even work on more improvements in the future. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support, your feedback, and your enthusiasm have meant the world to us. Thank you for being part of this journey. With heartfelt appreciation, The Ghostwhale Games Team
Maybe they should have NOT rely only on the SALES of an EARLY ACCESS Game AS ITS WRITTEN on the STEAM Partner Page: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/earlyaccess
What Early Access Is Not Early Access is not a way to crowdfund development of your product. You should not use Early Access solely to fund development. If you are counting on selling a specific number of units to complete your game, then you need to think carefully about what it would mean for you or your team if you don't sell that many units. Are you willing to continue developing the game without any sales? Are you willing to seek other forms of investment?
Well Game was okay, just another Roguelike/Lite Game like Many others Price was too high for this Get it While you Can, or not.
Can be quite fun in multiplayer, but still has a few rough edges. But that's to be expected with Early Access.
Ngl Lindwyrm seems a great and funny game and it's very cheap. I don't think that it's a Diablo-like, but more an H&S dungeon crawler with loot/traps/puzzles. I love the fact that you can make combos with all the weapons and every weapons as an unique combo/effect and you can't spam it because it will be charged while you kill mobs. You can have two different weapons equipped and switch between them, for example I was using a bow and a dagger, the dagger was great to gain health on hit and I was using the bow to keep the mobs away from me. To "level" up and increase the survivabilityof your character you must find the right runes ( physical, elemental and poison ones ) and there are even special runes that interacts with the dungeons and can make your experience unique. There is also a traveler's log if you want some lore. The only thing that I didn't liked is the fact that you can only equip one accessory between rings and amulet.
https://youtu.be/iDpY45uBn44 Generally simplest player provides little motivation to work through the waves of repetitive monsters and straightforward quests.
As of time of writing, the game is not yet ready to play. Not even a smidgen of tutorial, and we couldn't get the multiplayer to work. Note if devs read this: There MAY be a bug where if you make your first character in multiplayer, certain start-of-game events don't trigger. The reason I suspect this is, after making my first character in multiplayer, I deleted it and tried to start one in singleplayer, but some of the quest-giving NPCs I had talked to in the first character no longer had quests for me in the second character.
