Limerick is such a good indie horror game, I don't understand why hardly anyone knows it. The atmosphere is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ creepy, the graphics are awesome, the puzzles are great and the story is eerie and crazy. Three boss fights and lots of cool diffrent enemies. If you like horror you have to play it. If you don't like puzzles you can skip almost all of it.
This is my kind of game - there are puzzles as well as action. I don't know how far into the game I am but it definitely has an increasing degree of difficulty on the action front. The puzzles aren't particularly difficult thus far. The only thing that is a little annoying is that certain types of enemies can't be killed so you just have to avoid them and run into a panic room now and then and wait for them to leave. Still, if you liked games like Tormented Souls (one of my favorites in recent years), you might like this one.

Interesting premise and a healthy mix of puzzles, along with some effective enemy placement that made for satisfying jump scares. I really loved the 'Panic Closet' mechanic, charging batteries to prep a safe zone in the event of emergency. While the tutorial section felt longer than I prefer, the mechanics are diverse enough to keep my interest, and the map gets more interesting, too. I'd stick around until you're really "out of the tutorial". Essential tension between upgrading weapons versus activating more points on the map to save made me resource-conscious, though (at this point in the game) I have yet to experience too much hardship in keeping enough ammo available. I'm someone who dislikes combat in horror games, but was satisfied to find (up to this point) the combat manageable for a lore nerd/puzzle head like myself. :3 If you're on the fence, I think this is definitely worth a try! There's something for everyone.
Solid horror game right here. There's a story at hand and voice overs are included! The best part is that ya don't have to do the puzzles if ya don't want to..dependin' on the difficulty. Noice effort. Sample gameplay: https://youtu.be/31gca91tZ6A
Played my part 1 and uploaded to youtube! Since I haven't finished the game yet I'm giving the game a silver zombie hand stamp of approval solely because I have not finished it yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRzKMiFAjyk This is a great little game from what I have played. The puzzles are nice. Not to hard but also not to easy. Its tense. It gets your heart beating and you blood flowing during chase sequences. The upgrade system is a great addition and the combat feels fluent. There are a bunch of lootable items along with a bunch of lore pages to collect and read. Also some relic items to find along your journey throughout the game. The save system confused me at first. (user error) I didn't interact with the monitor to finalise the save itself. I just assumed it did it automatically. It cost me when i died and was set back multiple areas lololol. BUT that is absolutely not the fault of the game itself! If you enjoy tense moments & solving puzzles at the same time then look no further. Limerick Cadence Mansion is the game for you!!!
I'm stuck on this, like literally I can't stop thinking about this but I am out of bullets. But I need to know more about Limerick. This one has me captivated. Need more time with my buddy P-bo. More time in this atmosphere. So I'll watch streams till I figure a way to continue.
While I have only scratched the surface of the game, I must say it is story driven and interesting thus far! The game provides action, puzzles, and a story. All for a somewhat elevated price point. I'm a firm believer in lower prices sell more, but in the case of Limerick you will need to deposit more if you want to play. Is the price point my only gripe, I would say no! I did find that the menu set up for the graphics/sound rather sucky and over designed. But those things will not take away from the game once you are beyond them. So if your into Horror, FPS and Puzzles look no further, as Limerick has it all. Enjoy Blockhead APPROVED!!! First impressions on this game have already given me the feelings of a love child of the first Bioshock game and Amnesia dark descent. The puzzles I've faced so far have been actually fun! My encounters of what lurks in the halls have been terrifying. The audio and level designs have been keeping me on edge. The story is full of mystery that you need to seek out. Also Limerick needs kisses on his forehead. That's a pro gamer tip to those who want to beat him.
The best thing I can say is Limerick has some of the most tense moments ever. Go!
Been playing the game since Sept. 19 and I must say, this is a pretty solid first outing for the studio. Puzzles are fun, the horror is more creepy then scary though. The story itself is very intriguing and makes me wanna learn more about Limerick as well as the world. The boss fight music is top notch stuff too. Looking forward to playing the game fully as well as uploading footage to my youtube channel when done.
