I found this game while looking for that extra dopamine hit doing work that can be a bit snooze 😴 It works reall well alongside your other tabs and doesn't distract too much, aside from when there is a fire 🔥 I must save the little people! This game is really great to have in the background or the foreground! I can't wait to see how it develops in the future! 🛩
I don't think I'd fly at this airport with all of the fires and medical emergencies. The game/app is really cool though. It's easy to get going and really low stakes. if you walk away you just have more money and some research done when you come back, and maybe you have to refill your fuel tanks (not a big deal). Super low-key little idle growth airport. I love it!
Runs great for early access, have not had any issues. Great little game to play while watching videos.
Needs improvement! No options to change screen options like size, fullscreen or not, and which monitor to use. You can only use your main monitor at the moment (if you use multiple screens). Don't really understand the tutorial really needs improvement. Not worth the money. EDIT: I meant to say it's impossible to move the game to another monitor when using a multi monitor setup. I'm not able to change the resolution or sizing either. Would love to toggle fullscreen or windowed fullscreen as this game is just forever stuck front and center on the screen no matter what you are playing. Making it very distracting. It should definitely hide in the background when we don't need it. Please enable windowed fullscreen or just windowed mode.
Sigh, yet another game released that is more an alpha and shouldn't be being charged for. I would suggest the following changes have the option to delete a save game (from the menu/confirmation) move the money/date to the middle of the sky above the airport (so nothing under the game area) rotate the menus to a horizontal position on either side of the playing area increase the scroll rate when moving the world (up/down) give us a sky background (sun/moon/weather can all be an option) Get rid of the refill click farming !!!! These are all basic things that should be done to get a game to a decent state, you should then actually continue with any actually planned progression, instead of the mod business.
it is a pretty chill game. it's worth it's price, and it makes for a good screen companion, although it might be a bit resource hungry at times(or get laggy if you try to minmax :) ).
Has lots of potential; very fun to have running in the background while I was working or playing minecraft. I would love to see how this game grows in the future!
lil airport
A fun little idle game with an active dev. There's only a few hours of content right now, but lots more on the way
Great concept, but flawed execution.
The idea of an airport desktop companion game is fantastic. It takes up minimal space compared to others in the genre while still providing the satisfaction of having something happening in the foreground. However, the execution is currently lacking, as technical issues and an intrusive UI get in the way. One of the biggest problems for an idle game is that it's way too short. Checking in occasionally, I managed to exhaust the entire game's progression within just 3–4 hours. While I still had two more "new" buildings to unlock, they added nothing to the gameplay. The higher-level gates only allow for more scheduled flights, but at that point you won’t need them, since there’s nothing left to do. Getting additional garages, fire stations is never needed, and why would I need multiple towers? The progression feels unbalanced. Instead of slowing down over time, as you'd expect in an idle game, it remains too fast. Spamming gates is enough to sustain unlimited income, since research times are long but money in comparison is never an issue.
UI & Design Issues
The UI on the right panel needs improvement. Buttons should be revealed gradually... sure, give me access to help, building, and research at the start, but there’s no reason to unlock scheduling before flights can even be scheduled. Especially since opening the scheduling window too early causes it to bug out, with no way to close it. Once you build enough gates, your screen becomes cluttered with notifications about upcoming flights every 10 minutes, I don't even know why I'd need to get notified about that. Seeing the scheduled planes looking different would be much more satisfying. Some additional usability changes would improve the experience:

Instead of a separate button for runway upgrades, let players upgrade it by clicking the runway itself.
Instead of allowing vehicle purchases before they can be used, let me buy vehicles by clicking on each of the garages.
Instead of forcing players to destroy gates and towers just to place better ones, allow direct upgrades.
Here are also some of the problems I encountered:

Opening the flight schedule window before placing a gate causes the window to start closing, without ever actually doing it.
there were plenty of bugs with scheduling, from being unable to schedule manually, because the contract would just disappear, to none of the completed contracts counting, causing one of the achievements to be impossible to get.
Hovering over a building displays its name, but if the building is deleted, the name remains stuck on-screen until a game restart. Sometimes, these names would get stuck in the middle of the screen.
Once an emergency occurs, all ambulances rush to the plane, even after the emergency has been resolved.
Two vehicles remain locked even after completing the game.
The game window occasionally shifts to the middle or right side of the screen, making interactive buttons inaccessible.
I'll update this review over time, and I truly hope I’ll be able to recommend the game in the future. With more polish and content, I can definitely see myself enjoying it.
