About

Lightphobe is an asymmetrical team-based PVP game that blends stealth action with fast-paced shooter gameplay. Choose between defending the earth as a squad of well-armed Soldiers, or join the dark horde of ethereal skeletal creatures known as the Lightphobes!

Easy to pick up but hard to master, Soldiers play in a first-person perspective just like your typical FPS. Soldiers will need to defend the active objective from encroaching Lightphobes and also be careful not to get killed in the process.
While AI-controlled Lightphobes (bots) may be easy to predict and defend against, things change when human players are added into the mix. Coordinate with your fellow teammates to survive together!

Playing as a Lightphobe requires a high degree of skill and patience. Being limited to melee attacks makes it difficult to kill your enemies, but the increased difficulty also makes it extra satisfying when pulled off successfully.
With their enhanced maneuverability, Lightphobes can use wall jumps to quickly scale vertical surfaces. They also have a natural invincibility in the dark, and must be exposed by a special light source before they can be killed.
If you enjoy the difficulty of sneaking up and knifing players in FPS games, then this is for you!

Has potenital to be better heres some of my suggestions The font of the text in the game needs changing Make the Escape manu close after pressing the escape button better reward and progression system maybe something like Vampire survivors or megabonk but way simpler option to make your teammates transparent and better visibility overall
KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! The homeless are running and you are killing!
This game is Fantastic! It is so much fun. It is a difficult and challenging game but its hilarious playing with friends and my community. You can play all as one unit or some of the group can play as a Lightphobe, which is so great especially when you don't realize it and a Lightphobe starts dancing. Also this game has one developer that wants to improve and add to this game that is already so fun.
The overall gaming experience was fantastic, *but I did encounter a latency issue in the multiplayer mode. Specifically, when shooting AI opponents, there was a noticeable delay in their response to getting eliminated. If this latency problem could be addressed and resolved, I believe the game would truly stand out as an exceptional and enjoyable gaming experience. Despite this issue, I thoroughly loved playing the game.
Thoroughly enjoyable multiplayer matches. The lightphobe mechanic really provides balance, and makes both sides tense to play, whilst still being easy to assist others on your team. Recommended, but be aware the learning curve is a little rough at the start, if you don't remember the name of the game
This a a fun little gem of a game. Worth looking at and the price is right too.
It's a good game. I really liked it, recommended it to my friends. A cool first-person shooter. Although it is an early version. But you can still play .
Joined this game for feedback/testing on Linux. The game is buggy (user experience/interface wise) and takes some learning to get used to mechanics but overall it's a very fun unique and engaging experience. The developer is fun to talk to and very receptive to feedback, they're active in their discord. Also, THEY ACTIVELY PLAY THE GAME with the community which is very good to see. The gameplay is fun and both sides of the asymmetric multiplayer FEEL even, granted when I was playing it wasn't full lobbies (around 4 Soldiers, 1-2 Lightphobes). The mechanics are interesting, the light bubble allows Lightphobes to be damaged when they enter it. When it comes to objective holding you can treat it similar to overtime objective capturing in Overwatch but in this game when a Lightphobe enters the AOE it locks the objective in their control and can keep "tapping" it to hold the objective. Whenever there isn't other players or fewer players the Lightphobes have AI enemies that attack the objective.
