CS2 is a really great game to play with your friends, but it's full of hackers. The VAC in this game is terrible and they barely ban any of them. However, when there aren't any cheaters and you're just spending the night playing with your friends, it's an amazing game.
Advanced Case Simulator & Spinbot Testing Ground 🔬💸 We truly admire this pinnacle of engineering delivered by Valve's developer team with a billion-dollar budget. CS2 is not a tactical shooter; it is the world's most advanced "case opening simulator" with a tiny community mini-game hidden behind it. By allowing cheaters to showcase their geometric talents (360-degree spinning) and software skills, Valve is conducting a global sociological experiment that measures the patience threshold of ordinary players. We take our hats off to this industry-leading lack of vision and the sheer success of "earning billions by doing absolutely nothing." Vacnet is already the greatest myth in software history; nobody believes in its existence anymore. 🤫📉

CS2 feels like a game that is falling apart no matter where you look. Valve said we were moving forward with subtick and a “better” Counter-Strike experience, but we are still dealing with endless bugs and broken systems. One example is damage prediction being enabled by default. Sometimes the enemy goes into the death animation, then suddenly stands back up like nothing happened. How is that even acceptable in a competitive FPS? And that is only one issue. In CS:GO, at least we could easily play workshop maps with friends. Now we keep trying after every update to see if it works properly, and it still does not. Deathmatch is full of bots, so we are forced to use third-party servers like xplay or Cybershock just to have a normal warm-up experience. I will not even go too deep into Competitive and Premier. Premier is completely ruined by cheaters. Even around 15k rating, there are players using wallhack everywhere. I added one cheater just to see how long he would keep playing before getting banned. Three months later, he was still spinning like a Beyblade and had reached around 30k Premier rating. He was still not banned. Some people say “just play FACEIT if you want a clean game,” but FACEIT requires Secure Boot, and I do not want to enable something that can add input lag or mess with my system. Also, why should I have to force all my friends to install a third-party platform just to play Counter-Strike properly? On top of that, playing FACEIT does not help me level up in CS2, so I still have to return to the official game for weekly drops, and then the same problems start again. Even basic things feel broken. Alt-tabbing out of the game and coming back takes time for the game to recover properly. Every update fixes one thing and breaks another. CS2 has amazing potential, but right now it feels unfinished, unstable, and neglected. Counter-Strike deserves much better than this.
getting into this game in lord's year 2026 feels like a curse but unfortunately i'm enjoying it that much
play pemiere: only obvious cheaters play casual matchmaking: only bad players trying to hide the wallhacks or trying the new cfg play only nuke (for fun in silver): every time the same few players, 6 min+ que and still meet cheaters with cheap knifes so they dont loose the green trust factor and pretend to be just good at the game lol play deathmatch: only bots with very hard aimlock at this point this game is just dead with a fake playercount and valve knows that, there is no proper anticheat and valve knows that, reporting anyone never felt this useless, we lost the good/rare/expensive weekly drops because of the bot-farms and i think valve wants this game to be like that. maybe i just sell my trashy overpriced skins or trade them away for a lifetime subsciption and do the same...and if i get a vac-live cooldown i just buy a kukri knife boreal forest for 40 bucks, get my green trust factor back, play 2-3 matches very bad to push my cs stats back to "normal" and after that my stats look fine again and i keep cheating, seems like this works very fine for the most "players". this review was brought to you by: Iniuria, Midnight, Aimware, Predator.systems, Pleaguecheats, RIFK7, Fatality.win, Primordial.dev, ezfrags, skeet, Memesense, ekknod EC-CS2, fantasy.cat, Nightfall, Phantom overlay, Clutch-solution, Satan5, Kernaim, Cartel, Scripters Rift, oxide.wtf, KiddyBoxer, FSecurity, Primordial, anyx.gg, Undetek, EUCheats, InVision, Sprudo, Osiris, Vredux, Xone, Rellix-cs2, Soft Hub, iCheat, Cheater.fun, Insanity Cheats, sharkhack, exloader and many many many many many..... more. if your cheat was not listed up here, please tell me i will change that.
this game is full of cheaters in competitive matchmaking and full of farming bots in deathmatch
I wouldn't recommend this game. I only play it because of my boyfriend since I love playing with him, but the solo Premier experience is awful. You run into so many cheaters it's crazy. I don't understand how Premier matchmaking can be this bad. I’m level 25 with 12k elo, and I’m getting queued against 26k elo guys spinning around and hitting impossible jump shots with AWPs. If it wasn't for that and the state of the game right now, I’d play it a lot more. I love the game, but I just can't recommend it with how things are. The cheater issue is insane, the game is in such a bad place right now. It's giving Call of Duty: Warzone vibes...
Counter-Strike's biggest enemy isn't the competition, it's the cheating problem. For a company the size of Valve, the current anti-cheat system feels completely inadequate. Prime Status has failed to restore trust in matchmaking, and cheaters remain common in both Prime and non-Prime games. The result is a frustrating experience that damages the game's reputation and drives legitimate players away. Until Valve seriously improves cheat detection and enforcement, this problem will continue to overshadow everything else the game does well.
I always used to say "I wish there was another game exactly like CS except it was actually fun"

Years later I realized it's literally just going outside and living my life.

[th]I think Ive always circled back somehow, when living life becomes not so fun anymore, CS was always there to take care of this feeling I'd have about lacking in preparation or plans. But somehow.. since I know nobody can ever be truly perfect at anything. I started sacrificing my body, organs, and mind, to the only thing in my life that was ever capable of letting me think I would eventually be "good enough"; but even then, I dont think it would have ever actually been me. My heart can't belong to something that doesn't care about how I feel. So Counterstrike has always just been a distraction that made me think "maybe one day I'll deserve to feel like I'm enough" rather than being something that was capable of ever making sure I knew that I always had been enough. And I think that's why this game is so addicting. Because if I just escape everything one more time; maybe this time I will finally feel like I'm doing something right. When Im playing a match, nothing about my life matters anymore except my ability to perform well. There is literally not a single moment in a round that I can waste on thinking about anything other than what my next move is about to be. So everything just disappears and something more rewarding takes its place; but only if I can execute it properly. I think this can become really dangerous, because it effectively replaces every feeling required for emotional growth with something that makes you only feel positively about practical growth. It is a drug. It's a drug that teaches you how to commit responsibily, how to work with others, how to see things other people might not, how to abstain from things you desire, how to find motivation in devastation... But the only thing it will NEVER be able to teach you is how to implement how you truly feel about these things into who you are as a person.[/th]

Maybe I just miss when it was my innocent escape from highschool rather than my devastating escape from how I feel about myself.
The game is much better after they removed the latency in bullets. It feels " a little more " like the Go but still not as close.. Yet they are still doing trash updates instead of a proper Anti-Cheat system. Hackers on every second game, which is the general downfall of this game. Since 2017 they are being lazy against the cheaters. Even valorant has a better system than big old CS.. Yet still feels good to play when there are no loser cheaters.
