Just streamed part 1 of the game, I loved how the first part was literally the demo! I am really enjoying the game so far, the last puzzle of the game took me a little while to figure out. I thought it is so well done! I cannot wait to finish it. :D Keep it up! I think it's cool that you are basically a cat controlling a girl. There were a couple bits that did jumpscare me. Highly recommended if you like puzzles, little nightmares..
definitely not ready but very nice concept. It reminds me of Little Nightmares......and Im the type of scaredycat that cant even play that so i wish those who play it luck
this game is really great! it has a similar feel to little nightmares which is awesome, and will probably garter atleast some attention when its finished. since its in early access to receive feed back, ill leave some! maybe try to rework a few animations, like death animations. it would also be nice to see a different model for the amnesia girl because she feels a little off in the world having the look of an anime girl; but its all around a great game and i 100% recommend it. I hope one day there will be a DLC or second game once its complete!
Quite interesting game with a cat and a little girl. Hide-n-seek kinda game. Overall it is a good game.
It's a great game, I like it. I've spent about 7 hours on it. The graphics are good, and the puzzles are a bit too much for me, they're not that hard to solve. However, the one nitpick I have on it is the animation time. To me, it feels way too long. Like, the girl could spend quite a while pulling a lever or picking something up to put into her bag, and in that time the monster gets closer and closer. By the time the animations over, I'd either get caught or have to run like my @$$ is on fire to get some distance. Either way, it's a good game regardless. There's a bit of frame drops at certain points but that doesn't make it unplayable for me. I'm on an AMD Ryzen 3 2300 X Quad-Core Processor with 3.50 GHz, and use AMD Raedon RX 570 Series GPU so that could be the problem for me.
Given the game is still in 0.9? open alpha, this is but a placeholder review. The achievements and some content (reels?) are still up in the air so can't say much about that. Feels a bit random so far. My pc (graphic card) is in the minimum requirements tier to run the game and the settings are maxed out by default. Upon every game crash/restart, the resolution will switch to pc specifics, even after being manually turned down in game. After sorting out the crashing game and cutscenes for graphic reasons, I noticed two major issues that I can adress as the user. 1) The graphic card demands went wild when the (default setting!) over sensitive camera kept spinning and 2) when characters were close to one another/camera and started to phase in/out of the screen. As earlier reviewers have already stated, the game needs optimisation/polish. The level boundaries and objects aren't always solid. Countless times cat, girl or camera went over the borders and didn't always make it back. (See my steam screenshots for some.) The girl's pathing got her killed/stuck a bit in Chapter2 and 3. Erratic & lackluster riddles. The majority can be walked over without thinking; tedious. The rest (prior to bosses) depend on spotting a random key item or getting stuck with no recourse which feels unfair and frustrating. It is ludicrous. I was looking for atmospheric mystery/horror. It has that, in the concept... Yet even if the puzzles got introduced better so the player can build upon the knowledge themselves, the majority felt really lifeless, just eating up time, not very intuitive. This is a point & click adventure. Not sure what to make of this little nightmares clone just yet... Edit 05.2023: Replaced my entire PC so it can now run peak performance demands with ease. Completed the 4th chapter. Noticed the jumpy camera and juicy? camera angles got reduced. Game did still feel random and the last chapter has a lot of repetitive... wannabe quick-action sequences that ruin what little atmosphere this almost puzzle game had. Lore/plot is up for debate but not a major selling point. Collectables/Achievments feel just as random and therefore a chore to grind but they also seem very irrelevant aka could be skipped. Last issue with this is being a *coughs* story driven game there's no replay value.
