About
You have been assigned as an intern to an isolated observatory on Mount Clearveil; Professor Elias was supposed to welcome you, but the observatory is silent… and something is wrong.
In this psychological cosmic horror experience, you manage the observatory during the day and follow the traces of Professor Elias’s forbidden connection with the stars at night.
Old devices, scattered notes, and unfinished experiments await you; as an intern, will you be able to handle the weight of this system?
You collect trash, grow and harvest crops, and try to keep the observatory clean and operational; yet the cursed symbols on the walls remind you that this place was never ordinary.
At first, you cannot understand why keeping the lights on is so important… until you are left alone in the dark.
A path that opens at night leads you beneath the basement and into the buried secrets of the observatory; to uncover them, you must be brave.
You think you are the one observing… but perhaps you are the one being observed.
You are trapped.
Over time, you begin to lose your sense of reality.
Will you be able to escape this observatory, or will you answer the call of the stars?

Generic horror game with jump scares.
The contrast between managing the observatory during the day and exploring its darker secrets at night works really well. The atmosphere is unsettling without relying too much on cheap jumpscares, and the mystery kept me interested throughout the prologue. Some interactions could feel a little smoother, but overall this is a promising introduction and I’m curious to see where the full game goes.
I'm still in the early stages, but the game feels very unique and has an immersive atmosphere. It turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. It’s definitely worth giving a chance when the full version releases; I’ve added it to my wishlist and am waiting for it.

Pros The environment and sound design are good. The story is interesting and makes you curious. The graphics fit the theme and look nice. Cons At the beginning, when the vehicle is moving, the dashboard gauges don't move. This is very noticeable. Poor optimization. I couldn't get above 30 FPS even with an RTX 4050, an i5, and 32 GB of RAM. There may be a bug where the player can get stuck at the facility gate.
The game is very promising. I'm looking forward to its release.
Niezbyt mi podpasowała tymi asseetami jak i ogólną fabułą. Dodatkowo optymalizacja też nie jest zbyt dobra :/
Optimization seems to be the biggest issue currently. Day cycles should be slightly longer I think? Feels a little unbalanced compared to how night cycles currently work. Really interesting game and story, good scares. Looking forward to the full release!

Life & Shadow: Celestial Call – Prologue is a decent start with a beautiful concept and an interesting world, but it definitely needs some improvement. I enjoyed the prologue overall — the atmosphere is nice, the tone is unique, and the story setup has potential. However, a few issues held the experience back for me. Item viewing was very blurry, making it hard to read or see details clearly. The biggest problem was Day 2’s daily tasks — they couldn’t be completed at all, and the game kept forcing me to fail no matter what I tried. It made progression frustrating and broke the flow of the story. Even with those problems, I still liked the prologue and hope the full game gets polished. There’s a good foundation here, and with fixes to the tasks and item clarity, it could become a much stronger experience. Decent start — hoping the next update improves things.
