Life of Guy is a pretty interesting sandbox AVN with a large cast of women to interact with. The variety is one of its stronger points. Not just visually, thanks to the fantasy setting, but also in terms of age, personality, and behavior. The overarching story is not really the main focus, at least not in Episode 1, and it is also not presented particularly well at the start. Things make more sense as you progress, but even then, the main plot clearly takes a backseat to the girls and their content. As a sandbox AVN, the game includes several gameplay systems. There is a money system with minigames to earn cash, an inventory, and a phone that acts as the central hub for quests, calling girls, and managing most interactions. These types of games often become grindy or confusing, and while that happens here to some extent, it is not too bad. Money grinding is manageable since there are ways to earn a lot fairly quickly. What was more of an issue at times was simply not being entirely sure what to do next, although the quest system on the phone usually helped point me in the right direction. Visually, the game is nothing special overall, but because there are so many women, you do get a wide range of character models, most of which are decent to good. The weaker points are the general rendering quality, lighting, and especially resolution, as the game runs at a fairly low resolution. On the plus side, the sex scenes are animated, even if they are still pretty simple at this stage. Content-wise, there is not a huge amount yet, but Episode 1 still kept me engaged for about three to four hours, so it is not overly short. Since this is only the first episode and future ones will be free, that is a nice bonus. Because of the large cast and limited current content, most girls do not have much to do yet, and the game largely feels like an introduction to the world and characters. I am also not the biggest fan of the engine used, but in terms of features, the game checks most boxes. There is a skip function, a gallery, and even an option to get hints for choices. Overall, I did enjoy my time with it. There are definitely things that could be improved to make the experience smoother, but the bigger picture looks promising. A sandbox AVN centered around a lot of attractive characters and at least worth keeping an eye on.
Life of Guy is a sandbox game about Guy, whose name can be customized, who has been possessed by a goddess and now lives his daily life with a rather nasty curse. Along the way, he will meet many beautiful supernatural entities known as “specials” and try to get rid of his passenger so he can return to a normal life. The plot is delightfully chaotic, and the script has some very funny moments. What is the best thing about the game? Well, in my opinion, it has many strengths that overshadow any possible flaws it may have (such as the user interface). The game far exceeds the usual number of female characters found in any other game of this genre (over 26). Each one has a different personality and body type, which gives the game a variety that feels almost like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Although the game is still in development, it is quite generous with the number of H-scenes it offers, which are also accompanied by super smooth animations and truly spicy situations. Although the game may seem a little complex at first, due to its rather unique user interface, you'll get used to it without any problems within the first few hours of play. You'll have a map with different locations available to you, a menu in those locations to interact with the characters there, and an essential tool: your phone, where you'll find a mission log, your contacts, a store to buy the items you need, and much more. In addition to the sandbox, there are mini-games that are simple and don't break the rhythm of the game. Here’s a tip: make sure to save often and especially before making decisions, as some H-scenes have variations depending on what we choose. In short, Life of Guy is an excellent game that gives off great vibes right from the beginning, with a sandbox style, simple mini-games, a large cast of female characters to “interact” with ;), a supernatural story, and a rather unique user interface. If you're looking for a harem-focused game with an absurd number of gorgeous monstergirls and countless hours of content with high-quality H-scenes, Life of Guy is a safe bet! [code]Love NSFW Games? OK..... I feel like I'm about half way with 3 hours game play on my first play through. I'm enjoying the game, cast and story. It's moving along at a great pace. Great Job DEV and Thanks! Just completed this Chapter and waiting for the next Update. Loved the game, story and cast. Thank you!
I didn't expect to like this game as much as i did. The characters, the humor and the writing made it truly enjoyable to experience just as a good story where the book is hard to put down. Waiting for updates has been teased by regular content, showing dedication and I couldn't be more appreciative. Once it's finished I'd consider replaying just because I want to interact with the characters and the story again.
Don't really post reviews but I just wanted to say I really had fun playing this game.
It's been mostly fun and interesting so far. The dev has added QoL to make it easier to know what to do next, the stories of the LIs are interesting, and I am looking forward to see what happens next. It did seem a little grindy until I decided to go with the flow of the quest/event paths rather than just randomly roam around.
非常棒的游戏,希望加入中文。
Wow I wish I had not bought this AVN, here are the pros & cons as I see it. Pros: 1. None Cons: 1. The story is horrible in my opinion. 2. The sandbox set up just does not flow and is repetitive. 3. The female character for the most part are ugly. 4. The graphics are below average. 5. Mechanics are annoying. 6. After hours of wasted time and the story just getting worse, I am not even interested in finishing this AVN and uninstalling it. If you are looking for good AVNs on Steam, I suggest: Acting Lessons; City of Broken Dreamers; Depraved Awakenings; Leap of Faith; Monster College; & Sisterly Lust.
Totalmente recomendado.
This game is not very good. The story is confusing from the start, the game mechanics are annoying and feel more like a roadblock than something worth having in the game and every woman has that "bimbofied" look. Its a pass from me.
