Probably my most favourite LIS game (alongside from the first) ever. When I first got the game (back on my Playstation) I played to my friends in one sitting until 3am as we got hooked. The story was amazing, and even having a little change from having multiple endings to having 1 ending with maybe some subtle changes. At first I just really enjoyed the game but after time and maybe other playthroughs it has got me to enjoy and love this game ever more. Seeing another cool power (even though I know a lot of people when it first came out thought Alex's powers was lame) that felt very story driven, and a way to connect to Alex. And just playing the game makes some of us who struggle with thoughts and feelings to feel seen. On top of that we ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ got Steph back! And everyone loves Steph! Amazing soundtrack from both the main game and Wavelengths!
Amazing game!
Life Is Strange: True Colors has an amazing story with plot twists that genuinely surprised me and kept me invested the entire time. Alex’s power is incredibly well done because it makes every emotional moment feel deeper and more personal. The side characters are one of the best parts of the game since they all feel unique, memorable, and easy to connect with very quickly. I honestly got attached to almost everyone in the town. Haven Springs is also such a beautiful and cozy setting that makes the whole experience even better and gives the game a special atmosphere. There were several moments where I was completely speechless because of how emotional and unexpected some scenes were. While everyone has their own favorite game in the series, this one definitely stands out as one of the strongest and most memorable entries for me.
one of the best games I have ever played. It feels a little slow at first, and takes a second to warm up to the characters, but I think that's kind of the point. it reminds you to be in the now, and reiterates the purpose of life. if you take anything away from this game, let it be that processing your emotions, and forgiveness, is the most beautiful thing you can do for yourself and for others. 10/10.
A good well written story, beautiful attention to locations /scenery and strong characters as you would expect from the Life Is Strange series. felt a little short and the puzzles and chose are a bit to easy compared to previous games. some of the choses don’t feel like they have that much urgency and effect on the overall game like previous outings in the series and definatly not as much of a emotional ride but it dose have moments. but still a fun adventure as you follow Alex throw her new life in Haven. defiantly recommend if you like point and click adventure, visual story’s or have played any of the other games in the series. Plus Steph is back form "Before the Storm" and she has her own episode. hope u enjoy as much as i did
Did the Light really turn from White to Blue or was I just seeing pink the whole entire time. who cares. Avoid situations at Puttoworkseattle.com I'm in Seattle I seen Stephs car drive by me it had Colorado plates. Prove me wrong! It had big HI STEPH!
True colors was the first time i've played a LIS game where I wasn't blown away with. It was good, but didnt have the emotional impact as 1 and 2 had. I felt the same way about before the storm, then i found out it had both been made by Deck Nine instead of Don't Nod. They had a lot to learn (which they totally did while making Reunion, that was peak). I loved the scenery in True colors, but i felt really trapped in the street. There werent a lot of locations to explore as they wanted to make an open world feel. I didn't relate to Alex as a character as well. Allthough, I was really suprised when she played one of my favourite songs by Novo Amor on the roof with her guitar. That was the best moment. I would give it a 7.5/10. My ranking off all the LIS games would be as followed. 1: Wolf Brothers -> 2: Original -> 3. Reunion -> 4. True Colors -> 5. Before the Storm -> 6. Double Exposure -> 7. Captain Spirit -> 8. Wavelengths -> 9. Farewell.
had a good twist but overall, i would say the story not that that mesmerizing and i don't really get the gameplay or superpower that fmc had so i would say 7/10 stil decent
J'ai bien aimé. L'histoire est bien ficelé. On s'attache aux personnes. Les graphismes sont jolis.
------------- Overall ------------ 🏆 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔲🔲 8/10 🏆 ---------------------------------- Unfortunately, for some reason, it didn't give me the same feeling as the earlier installments in the franchise. Regardless, I still recommend it. Alex Chen moves to a small town and uses her special ability to uncover the exact circumstances surrounding her brother's death. I found the DLC to be particularly rushed. ---------------------------------- ------------ Graphics ------------ 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 10/10 ------------ Gameplay ------------ 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔲 9/10 ------------- Audio -------------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 10/10 ------------- Music -------------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 10/10 ----------- Stability ------------ 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 10/10 ------------- Story -------------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔲🔲🔲 7/10 -------------- Fun --------------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔲🔲 8/10 ------- Controller Support ------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳 10/10 --------- Replayability ---------- 🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔳🔲🔲🔲 7/10 ---------------------------------- -------------- Pros -------------- 👍 Great characters and setting 👍 Hard choices 👍 Beautiful music and great voice acting -------------- Cons -------------- 👎 The story feels a bit flat compared to previous games
