I don't care if this was just fan service, I hope this isn't the last we see of this story. I love these characters and the stories told through them, can't wait to see what else is in store for them. But please have it separated by chapters though, a few slides at the end weren't enough. Superultrawide support would be nice too.
The reviews had me a bit worried that this would feel like shallow fan service, but... I dunno, maybe it is, but I loved it. I guess I like the way they incorporated either decision at the end of the first game, and I'm glad (most of) the citizens of Arcadia Bay aren't dead (can you guess which ending I chose?) but it felt like a bit of a cheat. It also made Double Exposure feel like a bit of a pointless side story. In any case, in order, I would say I liked the original, then Before the Storm, then True Colors, and this right behind that. Worth at least a play through!
Deck Nine has built great finale and a wonderful love letter to those that began Max and Chloe’s journey back in 2015. The narrative’s mystery is deeply engaging and subverts expectations is many ways, Max’s powers - both old and new - are fun to navigate, and Chloe’s return feels natural without ever feeling overly like fan fiction. (There’s definitely some cheese here, but is it even Life is Strange if it’s not a little cringe and/or cheesy??) It’s heartwarming, sincere, funny, all the things that make this franchise what it is. If you’ve been on this odyssey since the beginning, this one is for you.
Nie jest to tak ciekawa historia jak w pierwszej odsłonie serii, ale zdecydowanie lepsza od double exposure. Szkoda że tak krótka, ale mimo wszystko polecam.
I enjoyed Max and Chloe's story alot and it was great to see them back together after so many years. Its a bittersweet moment that Deck Nine has ended there adventures after this game. I would have enjoyed to see more but I guess you can't keep doing stories about time forever. Max and Chloe have a dynamic and something magical that no other characters to this point can capture in my opinion. I have played all of the games till this point and have enjoyed each one. The voice acting and mocap hits differently and is something special. I hope Deck Nine continues making Life is Strange games and hope we get to see Max and Chloe again somewhere out there.
The game is awesome! Now want to replay all prev games ones again :) However I miss things like: changing clothes, having phone-facebook (from DE), chapters splitting with separate results - in other words I was expecting much more details here and there.
Great conclusion to the game! Love it
Love the Life Is Strange series
