Simple as of now, but fun for what it is. Definitely still in progress, still recommend trying it if you like sim style
This game is disgustingly predictable. Play with the market if you'd like to know what I mean. The more you invest in a stock, the flatter the stock becomes. That might be balancing to the dev. To me, the player, it's boring. That's just the biggest flaw. There are many smaller flaws, like personal lifestyle being nothing other than milestones for unlocking features. Those lifestyle milestones mean nothing after the first gen. I like to think these "features" will mean more after more updates, but if that's the case, the developer launched far too early, even at 15 bucks. Wait to see how this latest EA game plays out before purchasing. WARNING: the demo is pretty much the full game as of right now. Don't buy in just because you like the demo.
love the game

This is a fun little game, yet it suffers severely from repetitive gameplay. At the time of writing this review, I’d clocked less than an hour of playtime, and I’d already started two separate save files. Several glaring flaws stand out during gameplay: The difficulty is far too low. You can amass wealth rapidly whether you’re working a regular job or launching your own company. While it feels satisfying at first, the experience quickly devolves into mindless clicking. There is a lack of substantial content. I understand this is an Early Access title, but right now it only has a bare-bones framework. Simply put, you end up with piles of money and nothing worthwhile to spend it on. Expanding the lifestyle mechanics would be a great improvement if possible. Minor functional flaws exist within the core systems. For instance, after purchasing real estate, my character’s lifestyle status still shows living with parents. This issue could be fixed alongside the content expansion mentioned above. The game provides insufficient tutorial prompts. When I tried applying for high-barrier careers, it never displayed all the required qualifications in one go, forcing me to repeatedly click back and forth to check prerequisites. I hope the tax notifications and other pop-up alerts can be optimized. Constant interruptions from pop-ups become extremely annoying after extended play sessions. The inheritance system needs reworking. Unlocking an heir currently functions like a generic new game plus rebirth mechanic, with zero continuity or connection to your previous character. That said, the game has plenty of merits too. Still, addressing these shortcomings takes higher priority for an Early Access release. I have no intention of requesting a refund, and I consider my purchase a show of support for the development team.
