The best soulslike not made by From Software, while also being better than a few of the from software games.. The atmosphere, combat, music, bosses.....everything here is fantastic. The game also features an actual storyline that humans can follow and understand, and a lot of QoL stuff (NPC quests that are easy to track without needing a wiki, unlimited respecs....) which is a nice change of pace, coming from the Souls games. The DLC is also insanely good, and adds some of the coolest weapons imaginable. Lies of Peak indeed.

A masterpice, both the gameplay and the story are engaging. It´s not as challenging as elden ring, in case you are looking for a challenge, but certainly some boss fights are a bit hard. 100% would recomend, both for the story and the combat

Picked this up on sale recently and had a great time with the base game. The story and npcs were excellent as well as the music. My main complaint was the rather linear maps and level design there is very little to explore off the designated path which is one of the things I enjoy most in soulslikes. I also found that the game got rather easy towards the end even on Legendary Stalker difficulty but that could have just been my build and being comfortable with parrying. Solid 8.5/10
