Lies of P

Worst souls game I have ever played in my life, this game should be called lies of peak because people lie about this game being peak when this game is a cheap, terrible hallway simulator. The story and setting are the ONLY good things about this game which is a shame that the combat (ya know the most important part of a souls game) sucks so much donkey ♥♥♥♥. The parry is clunky and unresponsive, the dodge is straight up useless 90% of the time due to enemies god tier tracking and the animation commitment makes 80% of the weapons completely useless. I will never buy a game made by neowhatever-the-♥♥♥♥ ever as long as I live, I feel like I got scammed out of my money.

La puerta de entrada perfecta a los Souls-like Para ser mi primera experiencia en el género, Lies of P me voló la cabeza. Iba con la idea de que me iba a encontrar con algo frustrante, pero fue todo lo contrario: es sumamente equilibrado y desafiante en su justa medida. El 95% del juego es una joya balanceada (el otro 5% se lo lleva la Marioneta de Payaso Loco, que me hizo sufrir más de la cuenta). Al ser novato no puedo compararlo directamente con otros títulos, pero me dijeron que comparte mucha vibra con Sekiro y Bloodborne, lo cual ya me dejó re manija para que sean mis próximos desafíos. Si nunca jugaste un Souls-like y te da miedo la dificultad, dale una oportunidad a este. ¡Una obra maestra!

Truly Lies of Peak indeed. A friend of mine kept insisting I should play Lies of p and I'm glad he did. I should start by saying that if you asked me what I thought about the Souls games/genre I would have said I understood why people like them but they weren't for me. However, that changed after playing the beta for Mortal Shell 2 and once upon completing it I felt the desire to play more so I decided to try more soulslikes again. Bought this during the Summer Sale and don't regret it. Even though there are people who say this is the hardest soulslike they played, I thought the game does a phenomenal job in helping you as much as possible without making it too easy. There are some TOUGH boss fights here (Green Swamp monster, The Dark Rabbit Brotherhood fight, Laxasia, and King of Puppets were the toughest for me) but the game does provide plenty of options to help you take them down. Excited to try the DLC Overture.
