Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

ive tried to like this game, but its not what i was expecting. the game is slow, clunky, and basically all enemy attacks are the delayed ragebaiting swings, which i cant stand to deal with. the dodge feels weird, the parry feels weird, the enemies have too much health and the bossfights are nothing like bloodborne or sekiro. the fights lack any sense of rythm....its prolonged, slow clunky swinging and parrying which feels...kinda boring. dissapointment for me, unfortunately many people love this game, but it feels nothing like bloodborne, dark souls 3, elden ring or sekiro. its more comparable to demon sould, and dark souls 1 and 2 .....

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lies of P, a game I was excited to play after hearing it is a parry Soulslike and it did not disappoint. As I just said, your primary way of not taking damage should be parrying, you can use your dodge to do that as well since in Lies of P the dodge has I-frames unlike Sekiro but you are going to miss out on many advantages early as well as late game. The parry feels nice but lacks a little bit of omph, personally. Another feature I liked is the weapon assembly system, a system where you can personalize a weapon made for you by playing around with different blades and handles, combing each their individual abilites, scalings and weapon types. I experimented a bit until I got the Puppet Ripper, a scythe, and decided to just main this from now on because, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scythe man, it's cool as heck. There are two things I did not like about the combat, first of all, Legion Arms. In theory it sounds really cool but after unlocking each and playing through the game I realized, you can barely utilize them in combat against bosses. They feel clunky to use and offer not much aid, getting outperfomed by one or two mere weapon slashes while leaving you vulnerable. It is sad that they did not really feel integrated into the combat flow, I personally would have changed them into a way of weapon enhancing, something along the lines like imbuing your weapon in flames and during a slash attack releasing an arc of fire or in electricity to speed up a strike attack (literally used in a boss fight). I think if they went for something like this they could have kept the combat flow fluid. The other mechanic that felt very unnecessary is the durability. What purpose does it serve besides slowing down a fight because you have to sharpen your weapon and even that happened very rarely. You naturally do not get any buffs for having a low or high durability, which would have been an interesting system, have blunt weapons do more damage the less durability they have and vice versa for sharp weapons. The exploration was very linear and guided which I really liked, they did not implement a map for exactly that reason which worked perfectly fine. Besides playing during the Belle Époque era and therefore having beautiful architecture the graphics are gorgeous and the game is very optimized, I was able to essentially maintain 240 FPS during the majority of the game. It is a Soulslike so it obviously has epic boss music but also beautiful OSTs containing pianos and other classical instruments. I might have enjoyed the story more if they kept the entire Puppet Frenzy narrative instead of shifting to humans, a disease and gods? The final boss that you fight during every ending was kind of underwhelming compared to the previous one, took me about 20 minutes to figure it out and easily beat it. Something I have to add is that I was dripped tf out, cylinder hat, green goggles, a brown suit and a scythe, this is just peak.
worst game I have ever played!! game is too hard even on the easiest mode!! combat are so heavy and very slow!! enemies jump on you out of no where. enemies are very reaptive that makes the game so boring. everything in this game is very stupid and the world is very boring. waste of money!!!
Divertimento? Bugia
Ciao a tutti!
As good as dark souls 3
lies of peak
one of the few games that genuinely brought me to tears during my first playthrough, both the story and gameplay surpassed all my expectation
do not end up regretting it like i did
