LiDAR Exploration Program

Честно, я думал что игра будет очень скучной, ибо все что ты делаешь это ходишь по локации и сканируешь окружение и находишь нужные объекты. Но я не ожидал что меня затянет. Само по себе приятно использовать сканер и окрашивать все вокруг точками, так еще и сами локации большие и очень наполнены деталями. А поскольку изначально ничего не видно и видим окружение только при помощи сканера, изучать окружение и замечать какие то детали реально увлекательно. А учитывая в какие цвета окрашиваются точки, это выглядит очень красиво. Игра еще и хорошо дает атмосферу при помощи музыки и звуков. Правда мне кажется странным, что игра считается хоррором. В игре практически нет ничего жуткого, и все что меня напрягало, это некоторые эмбиенты и когда ты изучаешь новый объект, каждый раз слышно биение сердца. Единственный как по мне минус, игра немного затянута. Каждая локация довольно приличного размера, и каждую можно изучать час, а их в игре 8. Игра конечно пытается разнообразить геймплей при помощи новых способов сканировать, но если игру проходить за один присест, все равно может надоесть. Но игра тем не менее классная, атмосферная и довольно уникальная. Но если у вас комп не тянет большое количество частиц, лучше наверное в нее не играть.

This is a very pretty tech demo! It's not really for anyone looking for a game but perfect for relaxing exporation. Love hearing water flowing and the darkness, the colors and that you see through everything. I am missing some tiny high value details such as not getting completely blocked by small flowers and leafs hanging from trees, and a tiny bit of movement of dots on water would boost immersion a lot. Sadly I am suffering a bug where I get completely immobile until i jump after having run into something. Combined with being blocked by tiny flowers this bug keeps me from enjoying the game enough to finish it. I do recommend checking this out anyway thanks to the reasonable price of one fancy cup of coffe.

This is a surprisingly relaxing game while still keeping the creepy vibe one might expect. Rather than the sudden shock and pulse-pounding dread of most 'horror' games, LIDAR Exploration Program is simply...eerie. Nothing chases or hurts you. There are no jumpscares aside from one or two things that might move a bit or make a noise once you've spend a few seconds scanning their forms. There is no sense of imminent threat, just a sense of..."where am I?" Scanning the level environments and musing on what it all means is a chill way to experience a quiet LIDAR-based game.

I wanted to love this game its right up my alley it is so pretty and atmospheric. However, There needs to be an option similar to PWS where you can just move the scanner instead if the whole screen. As people have said the collision on things can be a bit annoying but overall for the time I was playing I was loving it. Simple to use and understand I'm just sad that it gave me horrendous motion sickness so refunded. If you are not bothered by things like that buy it!! Its very peaceful even if it has a horror tag!
