Reviews
I'm going to write a tentative review here as I'm still delving into the game, but let me tell you - I like what's on offer here. Essentially, LTD is a game where you go back-and-forth between the myriad stages. Each stage offers a set of challenges with clear, but optional goals - sometimes you need to power up on other stages before you can tackle them. Eventually, you can just overpower most stages with better stats and equipment (not that it's a bad thing, you'll have earned the right). The game does have some minor quibbles. The UI sometimes clashes with the background, the subtitles for some of the videos do not match the spoken dialogue (the meaning is mostly the same, it just seems odd), there are some spelling errors here and there, some slightly odd graphics (if you've played Hidden Object games, you know what I mean), it's hard to discern which turret locations are valid due to some tiny shrub blocking everything, calling a wave early doesn't advance the Support time (it absolutely should)... Maybe the loading times are just a smidge too long? At least when moving to the overworld view. None of this is a dealbreaker. If anything, the positives are overpowering any possible complaint I might have at the moment. I'm hooked on the game, and I look forward to firing it up every day to clear a few stages more. If you're a TD afficionado who is looking for something new to play, you'd do well to check Liberator TD out. It is scratching all the right itches for me, and it should for you. I'll update this review once I clear the game. Don't skip past this one just because it has gone under the radar.
BEST GAME EVER!!!
Nice game, good and challenging.
good
Gameplay is very bland. Having to click E repeatedly on an ammo crate to fully restock is a pain. When a turret gets disabled from acid rain it says to "press E" but you have to hold E and look at it a certain way to repair it. The game feels like there is a lot but it is not fruitful
