Currently it's not worth playing.
This game is pretty good and I feel like it has a chance in getting popular but there are a few problems. The first problem is that there is only a tiny time difference between a perfect and a miss. The second problem might be because of the first problem is that it's really hard to beat even the 1 star levels but maybe I am bad at the game. Thirdly and lastly how are people getting over a million score??? But still the game is pretty good and I am looking forward in an update which makes the game easier.

Let me just say this right away: play Lynium. I’m not saying Lez is necessarily the worst game ever made, but if you’re sitting on Steam trying to decide where to spend your time, there is a very obvious answer in my mind. Lynium is the game you should be playing. There’s something about Lynium that makes it much easier to recommend. It feels like the kind of game you can actually get invested in rather than something you launch for ten minutes, get bored of, and forget about. It has that important quality that a lot of games are missing these days: it makes you want to keep playing. And honestly, isn’t that the entire point? Lynium Just Hits Different The biggest reason I would recommend Lynium over Lez is simple: Lynium is more fun. That might sound like an obvious thing to say in a review, but it’s actually one of the most important qualities a game can have. You can talk about graphics, features, mechanics, updates, content, and everything else under the sun, but if the game itself isn't enjoyable, none of that matters. Lynium understands that. There’s a satisfying feeling that comes from playing a game that actually keeps your attention. You start playing because you have nothing better to do, and suddenly you realize you've been playing for way longer than you intended. That is the kind of experience I want from a game, and that is why Lynium gets my recommendation. Meanwhile, Lez just doesn’t give me the same feeling. Why Waste Your Time? Steam has thousands upon thousands of games competing for your attention. You have limited free time, so why spend it playing something that you don't enjoy as much? Exactly. Play Lynium. If you have a choice between the two, I’d much rather recommend the game that feels like it respects the player's time and gives them an actual reason to keep coming back. Lynium has that “one more game” quality that can turn a quick gaming session into an entire evening. You tell yourself: "I'll just play for a few minutes." Then you look at the clock. It's somehow three hours later. That's when you know a game has done something right. Lynium Is Worth Giving a Chance Another reason I think people should play Lynium is that you don't really lose anything by giving it a proper chance. Sometimes people see a game, glance at the store page, read a couple of reviews, and immediately move on. That's especially easy to do on Steam because there are so many games available. But Lynium deserves the chance to speak for itself. Don't judge it without playing it. Don't listen exclusively to people
The game honestly is just not fun. I didn't like it when I first tried it back in 2023, and I still don't like it 3 years later. While more charts have been added (I think), there are still very glaring issues with overall gameplay. It feels awful, trying to get an FC on anything genuinely feels impossible. I am decent at VSRG's, I have no issue's playing 6k. In any other game, these charts would be a boring cakewalk. In LEZ, there a frustration due to how it play's. I've changed offset, I've increased and decreased scroll speed and I've tried increasing the chart speed itself. When you do change your scroll speed, it resets after every chart so you have to set your scroll speed again and again. There is no reason why it should be like this or set up this way. (I think the higher scroll speed you have counts as a score multiplier as well which makes no since. meanwhile, increasing song rate disables rankings which also makes no since.) Judgment just feels off no matter what you do. You will miss, you will wonder why you miss. You try to replay the chart and randomly miss again. Change settings too see if they help, and you still miss. It's not a skill issue, its a issue with the game itself. Navigating the menu is also clunky, you can't press enter to start a chart or to enter the game. everything needs to be clicked on. I also don't mind that there is a tutorial option on the menu but why is it the first option? This is more of a personal gripe, but I found myself always clicking into the tutorial when I opened the game because it's the first option. Overall, I tried to give this game a chance and it just straight up sucks. As a rhythm game is fails. And if its a passion project. Then I give kudos for giving it a seemingly genuine try. But it fails in too many way's too be enjoyable.
✅
Love the game. Love the music. It took a little to get used to the six keys but it was well worth it!
