Lewd Island

The only remarkable thing about Lewd Island is that it perfectly illustrates how people don't talk to each other. Not face to face, not online, not even in-game characters in thousands of games have had conversations as forced, bland and just plain bad as this one. As if they were written by someone who has never spoken to another human being. Unless there's a plot twist where the entire cast is a bunch of robots, which I highly doubt, the game is just a collection of erotic animations with a story that barely pretends to be coherent and dialogue that feels forced. It's bad, seriously. Not even worth trying.

if the game has this crappy 3D graphics avoid it the story sucks and gets supper boring at least it has a lot of different endings

Ein Flugzeug stürzt irgendwo über dem weiten Ozean ab. Nur eine junge Frau und ein Kerl überleben das Unglück und retten sich auf eine einsame Insel. Den Naturgewalten ausgeliefert versuchen sie zu überleben und entdecken auf unspektakuläre Weise die Lust an sich selbst. Die Zeichnungen sind zwar teilweise ganz ansehnlich, dafür liefert die Geschichte kaum Highlights. Einen knappen Daumen nach oben gibt es für die zahlreichen Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten.

totally ruined what could have been the most epic moments in any game like this! Enjoyed it. I like that you can choose what to do and based on that the story changes. A nice experience, I recommend the game.

I wish there was a "Meh" rating. I didn't hate the game, it's just very mid. The renders looked great, except for the character Desmond. His green and purple hair looked stupid, and his character sucked. I really liked the design of the main FC (the other female characters were good too). The story started off fine, but the twist reveal wasn't something I liked. I see what they were trying to do to make the story more interesting, but I still didn't care for it. It took me WAY too long to get all the achievements (36 hours lol). You wouldn't think you'd need to make notes for a game like this, but I keeping missing the correct paths and had to keep replayed sections over and over again lol

Would give it a meh but there is just up and down. So, can maybe recommend on a good sale for a quick but a bit tormenting experience. For a few $/€ it is not expensive to play. Playtime for me for first playthrough was around 5-6h. After that you can use the Renpy fastforwards to get the rest of the scenes of course. So not overly extended, although the beginning feels like a crawl for a longish time. There are some reasonably good renders and scenes. Could use more variation and length though. Some assets obviously come from some kind of shared store as I have seen parts of it in other similar games, such as the bar that shows in a few scenes. Beyond that the assets are fine though. Mainly the story focuses on interaction with the main female character, so better to check the trailers to figure if you like the type. There is no gallery or other way to get back to the scenes, so its just a one-time experience. There goes your dreams of one-handed replays. Story is a bit meh but gets better near the end. Writing is nowhere near the legends of the genre. And as stated, large parts of getting there are a very slow crawl. The female character is a rather annoying bimbo, while the main male character is a bit of an ass. Quite realistic then. You do get to name the main characters and name their relationship so you can always tweak it for some kicks in yourself vs someone you know. Had a few laughs that way. The kinky thing is obviously intended to be daughter and father but they just added the naming to get past the sensor limits. For most parts the dialog was not too messed with other choices though. In summary, some nice renders, relatively short and concise even if pretty meh story, no gallery, slow crawl but does pick up a bit towards the end. For some entertainment experience it was ok. Will forget fast and not really miss it though.

as much as i love the story, the game is riddled with issues... after day 7 (i think, actually many issues arise in the game at this day) and the FC's face changes like 4 or 5 times in total, around my first ending of the game, her face started to look like an old lady. on my 6th playthrough/ending i saw that her face got kinda ugleh and chubby (the ending with the city behind her in the window... as if their home is flying, lol) -one of the issues that arise around day 7 or 8 is the FC is saying the lines of the MC, and the spelling errors go kinda nuts after day 9. but definitely a game worth checking other, none the less... if only to give you more ideas on how to perfect a story. about 25 hours long if you explore everything without AFK, sadly no auto-forward functioning here either...(not for me, at least), but self voicing is good (unless you get the Skip bug, then just reset steam or restart the game) also, just like with Maid Mansion quantity isn't quality so the endings could have been better, i played an extra 2 hours checking if i could get a Cara or ending with at least 2 main ladies, uh no. 7/10 i enjoyed the story a lot but then there were 2 or 3 instances where it felt like a leap or just silly... [spoiler] because a sniper could easily solve their issues.

Animations are decent, but the story is just not there.
