some scars never heal, they will keep rupturning and rupturning until the bleeding soaks even the ones around you, we are all just small scarred things looking for a place to heal. life goes on one heavy step at a time
An incredible game. Words cannot even begin to explain how much I enjoyed this. A beautiful blend between story telling and horror. An emotional impact worth noting and a game I will recommend to many.
決して最先端のビジュアルでも、演出が派手なわけでも、ロケーションが豪華なわけでもない、素朴に作られた作品ですが、間違いなく素晴らしかったです。手紙という人間の情念が込められた媒体を通じて語られる愛の物語でした。
Beautifully done game, The scares got me when it happened but werent too much of the focus as the story. But not complaining, the story was super sad and so well done. Not one detail was neglected it felt like, the ending almost made me cry.
a little janky but good story and atmosphere
ONE OF THES BEST GAMES I HAVE SIMPLY EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE!! TRULY A HEARTFELT STORY THAT KEEPS YOU GOING THROUGH THE HORRFIC ATMOSPHERE !!
this game is a true gem, its a painful and yet beautiful gem. going through and learning about Bernard and what all he has gone through and still deals with hurts so much, making you go through fear and sadness at the same time, making you feel like at any second you might be too slow and get caught by whats chasing after you. the pain you feel when you realize what the monsters in his head represent and how they all go through and torment him constantly. by the time i finished the game i was a bit of a crying mess cause i felt so bad for the character and imagining what going through all of this could feel like. how a single episode can make you feel like the worst person in the world, that you're the reason that everything wrong thats going on around you and everyone you love and how dying would just solve it. theres so much about this game i could go on about but im still a bit teary eyed thinking about everything about this game, but it is truly a beautiful game and i hope to see more games from these people, one hell of a gem and a game that wont be leaving my memory any time soon.
무서웠구요 근데 인생 살면서 필수로 한번쯤은 플레이해봐야할 게임이라고 생각합니다. 너무 감동적이었어요. 글솜씨가 너무너무 좋아요.
I'm glad I stuck with this. I must admit it was frustrating and clumsy at times and I guess it's supposed to feel like that. Some of the timings to complete a puzzle before an instant death are tight. Thankfully, some are more forgiving. It requires some fast thinking and tapping manically on your mouse. There's a lot of reading but it's a great story, even if it is sad and tragic. It pays off at the end though. It's really a story of guilt and acceptance. It's unique in the fact you play as a wheelchair bound veteran and that's something which is a bold move to implement into a game but it works, if not finnicky to manoeuvre. Not massively scary yet haunting all the same. I realised by the end I missed one of the rooms (living room I think), so not sure if that revealed anything or whether it was off limits. Score = 8/10
