Letalis

This is one of those rare games that doesn’t just want to entertain you, it wants to test you, surprise you, and sometimes hit you hard when you’re not ready. Don’t get fooled! Yes, it took a lot from Pokémon. Sometimes it even looks like Pokémon. But make no mistake: this is a different game. The permadeath system is tough, but after the first hour, you almost forget it’s there… until you lose a fighter and the tension goes through the roof. Exploring the world feels great. There are hidden paths, secrets and weird encounters that feel like real discoveries, not just content to waste your time. There are still some bugs, some missing features and it’s not perfect, but even so, Letalis already feels like something special. For me, it really stands out among indie RPGs.

Me está gustando muchísimo Letalis. Es uno de esos juegos que te hacen decir "una ratito más" y, cuando te das cuenta, pasaron varias horas. La jugabilidad es muy divertida y el loop de juego engancha desde el principio. Siempre hay algo nuevo por descubrir o mejorar, y el progreso se siente constante y satisfactorio. Lo que más me sorprendió fue lo bien diseñado y balanceado que está. Las distintas estrategias son viables, los combates presentan un buen desafío sin sentirse injustos y el juego recompensa experimentar en lugar de obligarte a seguir una única forma de jugar. Si te gustan los RPG por turnos o los juegos de captura y entrenamiento de criaturas, realmente vale la pena darle una oportunidad. Muy recomendado.

Durch Maxim auf das Spiel aufmerksam geworden. Ein wirklich tolles Spiel, was sehr stark an Dragon Quest Monsters (GBC) erinnert. Auf den ersten Blick nicht deep (Min/Max & Build bauen), ABER spielt es ein wenig und es kommt immer und immer mehr. Ich bin hooked und hole mir erstmal ein paar schimmernde Steine für meine Fusionsgladiatoren! Ihr macht auf jeden Fall nichts falsch wenn ihr dem Entwickler & euch etwas gutes tut!

Even in the alpha, this game is a blast to play. If you ever liked the old-school pokemon games, you'll probably get to love this too. I myself have spent 20 something hours just going around and exploring, trying to discover some of the things the devs have put into the game, and I still haven't found them all, even post-'campaign'. Looking at the hints i've seen though, there's a lot to look forward to! Can't wait for the full release.

This game is actually non-linear like the tags say, you can walk into area and get owned. This game is so unique it's hard to explain
