About
Lern Island Letters is a short narrative game where you play as a postman, sorting the mail of the five intriguing residents of a peaceful remote island. Pick up on their peculiar habits, discover their secrets without opening the envelopes, and try to save this natural haven from its fate before the end of the week.
This experience is brief, usually between 10 and 30 minutes, making it easily replayable if you want to find all the clues and jokes, or if you think you can get a better ending than on your first playthrough.
Even if you’re just replacing your grandfather as a postman for a week, you intend on remaining professional: opening people’s mail is not an option. Since they have lived here for decades, everyone has lost the habit of clearly specifying the recipient, so you’ll have to rely on clues on the envelopes and packages to find who to send them to.
On your very first day, you learn that the island is about to become the building grounds for a hugely touristic waterpark, threatening local nature and the peace of the residents…talk about a bad case of the Mondays.
If you’re clever, you might notice suspicious business going on, but you’re just a postman: surely it can’t be you who’ll save the day, if the only thing you can do is sort the mail?
Sit in your chair and relax: the small post office is located next to the beach with a stunning view of the Atlantic ocean. Take your time, enjoy the calm and the sound of the waves. Soon you’ll ask yourself if your mood is a reflection of the changing weather…or the opposite?
Handwritten fonts are an integral part of the game since every resident has a unique calligraphy style, which can sometimes help unravel a thread of the mystery. To make sure every letter can be read easily by everyone, holding right-click at any time will switch every text to a simpler and more accessible font.

J'ai beaucoup aimé le principe, c'était cosy comme il faut, mais vraiment beaucoup trop court
I wish I could give a neutral review, but Steam doesn't allow that. Let me get right into why I can't recommend this game. I completed the game in 33 minutes plus all the achievements. Next, the only thing in the game that matters is where you send the very last letter on Friday and that's it. I do like the idea of the game, it has potential and could become something more/bigger. The music is relaxing and the game is chill overall. I just can't recommend it based on the price and how long it takes to complete the game plus achievements. If the game was 99 cents I'd recommend it, but as it stands I can't. HOWEVER -- if you don't mind the length and how fast the game goes, then by all means get the game and give it a try. Just a fair warning that the game is very short and my own personal opinion is why I don't recommend it myself.

Lern Island Letters is a short game, which isn't inherently a bad thing so long as it feels like a complete and satisfying experience, which I don't feel that this game quite accomplished. One of the things that does work in this game is the primary mail sorting game loop of going through mail and figuring out who it should be delivered to, it's a good game loop and really has an opportunity for some good storytelling. But that opportunity for telling its story was undercut by this game's length I'm afraid, we just didn't get enough time to really get to know the people we are delivering mail to. But the biggest issue I feel is that the ending felt unsatisfying. Which ending you get is 100% dependent on who you deliver the last letter to, which honestly feels like a cheap way to end things. Overall though this felt like a game jam game or a prototype that I would play and say "You've got a good start here, can't wait to see when it is finished", and I think it would be nice to see the developers take this concept and expand on it to make a longer game.
cute little thing
la da est super cool mais ca ressemble + a une demo qu'un jeu complet :/
Interesting story!
Lern Island Letters was an easy to understand and simple concept of a game. It was wholesome, I loved learning the details about the residents of Lern Island.
Super short, very cute. Worth!
This game made me happy :)
A short (30m) game that manages to tell a story with very simple but engaging gameplay mechanic.
