About
Lern Island Letters is a short narrative game where you play as a postman, sorting the mail of the five intriguing residents of a peaceful remote island. Pick up on their peculiar habits, discover their secrets without opening the envelopes, and try to save this natural haven from its fate before the end of the week.
This experience is brief, usually between 10 and 30 minutes, making it easily replayable if you want to find all the clues and jokes, or if you think you can get a better ending than on your first playthrough.
Even if you’re just replacing your grandfather as a postman for a week, you intend on remaining professional: opening people’s mail is not an option. Since they have lived here for decades, everyone has lost the habit of clearly specifying the recipient, so you’ll have to rely on clues on the envelopes and packages to find who to send them to.
On your very first day, you learn that the island is about to become the building grounds for a hugely touristic waterpark, threatening local nature and the peace of the residents…talk about a bad case of the Mondays.
If you’re clever, you might notice suspicious business going on, but you’re just a postman: surely it can’t be you who’ll save the day, if the only thing you can do is sort the mail?
Sit in your chair and relax: the small post office is located next to the beach with a stunning view of the Atlantic ocean. Take your time, enjoy the calm and the sound of the waves. Soon you’ll ask yourself if your mood is a reflection of the changing weather…or the opposite?
Handwritten fonts are an integral part of the game since every resident has a unique calligraphy style, which can sometimes help unravel a thread of the mystery. To make sure every letter can be read easily by everyone, holding right-click at any time will switch every text to a simpler and more accessible font.

A great little game
Lern Island Letters is a very short game, but I think the concept is great. The game plays well and is entertaining; my only complaint is that I wish there were more. I hope that these devs come out with more like this in the future!
Concept très sympa, dommage que le jeu soit aussi court, on en fait le tour en 15 minutes.
Short but fun!
Lern Island Letters is a short and gentle game about acting as temporary postman/woman on a tiny island. Each day for a week, the task is to identify which of five residents should receive each piece of mail using clues on the letters and prior knowledge acquired on previous days. Underlying the daily work is the growing threat of a huge water park development on the island - will you allow it to progress or try to stop it
by (mis)using information in your possession..
? There are a small number of achievements, for ending day 1 (which is a tutorial day, really), for getting each of the possible endings (the game allows the final day to be replayed if you didn't get the best ending), for delivering all letters to the correct recipients, and for one other action (think of DOGE..!) My playtime represents two playthroughs to get all of the achievements, but I think that it should be possible to get them all in one if you choose the order of the endings more carefully than I did. I enjoyed playing Lern Island Letters and felt that it was well implemented, but it is very easy and short, so I hesitate about its value for money even at the discounted price I paid of UK £1.66. Certainly, to be worth the full price it would need more content and complexity.
Very short but overall cute game! It was a relaxing game to play at night before bed. I enjoyed the concept of using context clues to figure out where to send the letters. I only wish we got to know the characters more!
