About
Lern Island Letters is a short narrative game where you play as a postman, sorting the mail of the five intriguing residents of a peaceful remote island. Pick up on their peculiar habits, discover their secrets without opening the envelopes, and try to save this natural haven from its fate before the end of the week.
This experience is brief, usually between 10 and 30 minutes, making it easily replayable if you want to find all the clues and jokes, or if you think you can get a better ending than on your first playthrough.
Even if you’re just replacing your grandfather as a postman for a week, you intend on remaining professional: opening people’s mail is not an option. Since they have lived here for decades, everyone has lost the habit of clearly specifying the recipient, so you’ll have to rely on clues on the envelopes and packages to find who to send them to.
On your very first day, you learn that the island is about to become the building grounds for a hugely touristic waterpark, threatening local nature and the peace of the residents…talk about a bad case of the Mondays.
If you’re clever, you might notice suspicious business going on, but you’re just a postman: surely it can’t be you who’ll save the day, if the only thing you can do is sort the mail?
Sit in your chair and relax: the small post office is located next to the beach with a stunning view of the Atlantic ocean. Take your time, enjoy the calm and the sound of the waves. Soon you’ll ask yourself if your mood is a reflection of the changing weather…or the opposite?
Handwritten fonts are an integral part of the game since every resident has a unique calligraphy style, which can sometimes help unravel a thread of the mystery. To make sure every letter can be read easily by everyone, holding right-click at any time will switch every text to a simpler and more accessible font.

Very short but really enjoyable game. It's mainly reading (for me slight guess work) on who gets what mail and the mail tells a story about the island you're on. Would LOVE to see this fleshed out into a much larger game with stories and backgrounds, ect. Without spoiling the game that I beat in less then an hour, my feelings are not hurt at the price point. If you're on the fence for duration of the game, really wait for a sale. It's a decent game. :)

A game about sorting the mails for the inhabitants of an island, of which a waterpark is being planned to be built on. There's 5 persons you can deliver the mails too, and you can also get mails yourself from the people of the island. The game is super duper short, like i finished it and got all the endings and achievement in under 30 minutes...but it was pretty fun and relaxing, just that i felt a bit cheated that i didn't get to do a lot of reading of the letters; we can only read the postcards or the instruction manual that comes with the package, oh and the newspaper headlines of course, other than that most of the letters are hidden inside the envelopes and we have no way of knowing/ reading the content. We also don't get much info/ bios on the islanders, as the letters contained just necessary infos and again the game itself is pretty short, so we don't get to know more about the people other than for the purpose of saving the island Artwork is minimalistic, and so are the sounds, but they're ok. There's not much things you can click on unfortunately, except for the desk lamp and the letters. The endings are ok i guess, not much detectiving needed to figure out the culprits XD Overall an OK game, nice concept but too short, 8/10
Super fun little Indie game. Took me thirty minutes and four playthroughs to piece it all together. Loved the music. Hope they make more games.
It's -really- short. But I'm always here to support small, endearing indie games like these.
A short (30m) game that manages to tell a story with very simple but engaging gameplay mechanic.
